It all depends on if the fungus is capable of keeping a body alive just by its own power. Maybe they die over time. But even then, the fungus spreads. In the very beginning of the game don't we see a body sitting still in a building and it's totally covered in fungus but is dead? And there was spores in the air. Maybe the spores come out when the body finally dies

According to my mom its that the Apocalypse is in 2 years. I don't know the details. But I also don't believe it. I never believed that 1917 story. It always sounded like bullshit to me. They also say I think that while Mary was talking, the sun danced in the sky all over the place. And that thousands of people saw it. But nobody ever had a reliable account of this event. A massive crowd sees a supernatural event and the news didn't even talk about it
