I was just making fun of the typo. I did read over some of your mini reviews. I came to the conclusion we have very different tastes and Im the last person that should be trying to recommend you games lol. You didn't like stuff that was either my GoTY or in my top 3 of the year. You did notice Uncharted 3 was underwhelming tho. Kudos. Do the kids still say kudos? Am I still a kid? Who are kids? Someone show me some kids.

Got a PS4 right before COVID hit and basically didn't game for the back half of the PS3/360/Wii gen. So my thoughts on video games are very important. What did you think of these games? Any recommendations based on my comments?

Titanfall 2 - Love the movement in this. Run n gun multiplayer + battling in giant mechs is super fun. Also has a pretty neat campaign with the time travel mission being one of the best missions I've played on any of these games. Do wish the campaign were a bit longer.

Doom - Also love the movement in this with the insane speed. Great loop of being pit against demons in giant arenas. However I did feel like the campaign was a bit long for what it was. Unlike with TF2, i was wishing it would just be over with in the last couple hours.

The Witness - Not sure fun is the right word to use, but I loved this one. Also I am too stupid to beat it.

Outer Wilds - Probably the best game that I've played since my return to vidya. Love how its just a pure exploration game, similar to the last game I mentioned.

Stray - This one is super easy and has pretty simplistic game play, but I liked the atmosphere, level design, and aesthetic.

The Last of Us - Solid game. I enjoy stealth or at least stealth-adjacent games, and I had never really done a resource management game, so I liked that aspect of it. Also top shelf atmosphere. Lots of stuff boiled town to hallway shootouts though. Wasn't as big of a fan of the story as everyone else seems to be either.

The Last of Us Part II - Competes with Outer Wilds for best game. Really expands on TLOU in every way (story, level design, combat variance, etc) a thousand fold. Most recent game I beat and am very worried about chasing it with some game that won't compare.

Uncharted 2 - Really liked this one. Great setpieces, solid mix of run n gun and cover shooting.

Uncharted 3 - Definitely more setpiece driven. Didn't like this one as much but still solid.

Ratchet and Clank - Very video game-y video game. Get whacky and zany weapons and go crazy. Good concept executed well, great job guys.

Spider-Man - Swinging around NYC is maybe one of the best video game ideas in history. I wish the stealth stuff wasn't so simplistic though. Those sections were a drag and it was more fun to just cause a bunch of mayhem in a fight. Gadgets are also super OP and grinding for crime tokens to unlock everything is lame...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales - More of the same except Miles' venom power is insanely OP. Make these games slightly harder plz.

Jed: Fallen Order - Cool mix of Uncharted with Souls games (? - haven't played those but that's what I read). Wish the combat weren't as simple as dodge/parry/attack but the novelty of playing as a jedi goes a long way. Hope the sequel does a bit better with world variation. Don't really want to visit a Hell-esque planet in Star Wars, which is typically more fun...

Horizon: Zero Dawn - Like with Spider-Man, this game got a lot more fun when I decided to stop hiding in tall grass and just go head-to-head with dinobots. Also this game has probably the worst writing of any of these games and having to buy/find fast travel packs is a TERRIBLE idea.

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Actually gave up on this one but might return. Too big and empty. Don't care about hunting to craft shit and LARPing as a cowboy. Tapping X to make your horse go is another god awful mechanic.

GTA V - Like this more than RDR2 probably but some of the missions are super tedious. Like doing yoga or being a dock worker in sequences that are *way* too long. Also I didn't actually beat it either lol.

Yakuza 0 - Hey another game I didn't beat. But I like this one a lot more than the previous two. Need to get back into it. Super goofy, break dancer and beast mode fighting are awesome. Side stories are funny. Has a great melodramatic story.

Journey - Only took like 2 hours to beat but hey it looked great and was kinda fun.

Dying Light - Played co-op on this. I hate crafting shit if I don't need to so I never bothered with that, just used standard baseball bats or w/e on zombies, which is fun. Parkour was neat but kinda janky at times. Also the shooting didn't handle very well. Would play sequel for sure tho.

Rocket League - Probably the best sports game ever.

Division 2 - Played co-op on this. Not particularly good. Lots of cover shooting and loot boxing stuff. Only fun bc of co-op aspect.

A Way Out - Bad. Cannot believe people liked this.

Remnant: From the Ashes - Also not fun. Was dragged into doing co-op for this but gave up and let the others finish it themselves. Not into the combat or world or anything.

Deep Rock Galactic - Pretty fun co-op. Procedurally generated worlds are cool. Had some drama where you're panicking over ammo while hordes of alien insects are after you. Liked the end of each level where you're sprinting back to the ship.

Warzone - Sucks. I dunno. I guess I can see why everyone likes it. It looks great, there's a ton of weapon variety, etc... but I just prefer the fast run n gun shooters like TF2/Doom. In COD you feel so sluggish. Also I'm terrible at it but that's besides the point.

Hell Let Loose - This one isn't run n gun and is in fact the exact opposite as a milsim but I dug that. Probably has the most intense firefights I've ever seen in a game. It is just *complete* pandemonium when you are doing offensive/defense and are at the last checkpoint.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 - Never did campaign for this but online is ok. I wish weapons didn't overheat so quickly. Titanfall 2 has one charge-up gun I love using and that felt better. I liked the dogfights a lot in the flying sections. Also does a great job creating what feels like an epic scope. But also sometimes it just turns into hallway shootouts which isn't that fun.

Splitgate - This one is fun. Good movement, weapon and mode variety, although it doesn't seem like anyone uses the portals enough, which I'm sure bums the devs out.

Fall Guys - This was fun for like two weeks and then I got annoyed/bored with it.
