That's true, but I feel like a lot of "broken" characters just had a couple overtuned tools and a phase where people just had to learn the matchup.

Leroy however legitimately had the best version of every tool in the game. If your character was good at something, 99% chance Leroy was better at it.

It depends on the route you're on.

There's a route where characters will auto join

There's a route where no one will auto join

There's even a route where characters will leave but I think that's only one specific route (technically there's another where characters leaving is possible but it's only one character)

I stopped caring about the series long ago. It peaked during the hunter exams arc and it's been downhill ever since.

There's no main story, no MC to follow, action ia generally garbage, plot lines and character motives are all over the place.

Hell Idk what anyone even loves about this series anymore beyond what they loved about the first 2 or 3 arcs. Because that magic is long gone.
