Browsing the Internet with the use of extensions (especially ad blockers) is infinitely better on my Pixel 6 than my iPad 11 inch pro because Android isn't proprietary. On iPad, you're required to use shitty Safari if you want ad blockers, and even then, you have to get them on the official app store instead of the browser. It's literally the only reason I use Safari. On my work Mac, I use Firefox.

No youre not. You can use a fake VPN based ad block to block ads everywhere. I use Adguard.

Agreed, that there's no issues with the apps; just the way it looks or the extra functions it can do, iOS versions are better for some.

iOS apps are genuinely better or equal to their Android counterparts. I have not seen a single Android app that's better than iOS app (for apps that have both versions) in my limited <1 year use of the Pixel 6 Pro.

I bought a Pixel 6 Pro literally for the photo features and "magic eraser", but "magic eraser" was not worth the super underwhelming video recording, the hit-or-miss photo taking of the Pixel (when the photos are processed correctly, they look amazing; when not, they look like shit that's way too much processed), and I seriously disliked Android (apps just looked like shit), so I went back to the vanilla iPhone 14 Pro.

I missed the "magic eraser" function, but apparently you can get it now for $20/year via Google One subscription?

An Amazon box was delivered to my house and I just opened it without looking at who its addressed to (since we order from Amazon all the time). There was a box of dog treats in it. I asked my wife why she ordered that (since we dont even have a dog), she said she didnt, so I looked at the shipping label and sure enough, it was to my neighbor.

I walked over there and gave him the opened package with the unopened dog treats, and he started going off at me saying I took his package from his porch and how since its nothing expensive I am feigning ignorance and bringing it back. I just said whatever dude, here it is and just left, without engaging or escalating it any more.

If yes, what do you envision such a system to be? For example: What are the bare necessities for a house? What would happen if you want more than just the basic house? How would you pay for this? Where would you place it?

I totally get this. Hated this, actually.

So quite a few posts here said so you can take an hour or so off to do errands. Whats stopping you from doing this when in the office? Ive done that many times, where I go out and do stuff and come back.

I dislike the fact that I have to have a room dedicated for work (or share an existing room for work purposes), and dislike that I am using my own resources for work (internet, heat (I lower my temps when I leave for work), power, etc), and the fact that Im less productive at home due to distractions or inability to speak with people at the office. (This last bit matters since I have deadlines I have to meet, not necessarily just busy work)

Only thing you gain is the no commuting (which I personally dont mind since my commute is only 15 minutes one way and dont have any traffic).

Thinking of getting one but its pretty expensive in my state.

Because very true. Probably 3/4 of all plumbing issues in my rentals I've been able to fix with a snake and drano. Having a half-way competent home owner as property manager that is willing to fix a number of those small issues without calling in a plumber is key for profitability.

Another thing with single families is you can put in the lease that tenants will mow and water the lawn, but they won't take care of it near like a home owner will. So stuff like showing up to weed and feed is still necessary.

Yea basically. I have experience with an accessory unit and a single house, and a single house to rent out sucks.

I played about 15 hours into it and didnt like it. Here are my reasons why:

• No structure in the game- open world to be an open world, with no real structure.
• Minimal plot.
• Breakable weapons.
• Game looks dated and doesnt give a big wow in the way it looks in 2022 (when I played it); part of the reason why people liked it was because of how grand it is, but today, a free mobile phone game has just as big, if not bigger, more beautiful worlds.
• No music.
• Minimal voice acting.
• Some NPCs legit sound like theyre having sex. Wtf.
