Why doesnt Ukraine go on the offensive and start taking Russian territory?

I see so many videos from Ukrainian side of how well theyre doing, but Russia seems to just keep coming. Is Russia actually getting hurt by economic blockades and Ukrainians? Will Russia surrender?

Say minimum wage is $16.50/hr, and minimum cash wage is $5.35/hr. This means the employer is required to pay, at most, $16.50/hr to the employee and at least $5.35/hr, right?

For example, if its a really slow day and the waiter worked 8 hours, but only got $50 in tips, $16.50*8-$50=employer pays employee $82 and employee got paid a total of $132.

But if its a really busy day and waiter worked 8 hours and got $800 in tips (5 tables an hour, $100 average bill per table, 20% tip per bill), employer just pays $5.35*8=$42.80 thus employee got $842.80 for the day.

Is this right?

Im all for high military budget btw, so that the US can defend our interests around the world at a moments notice (like were doing with Ukraine and Russia).

Aiding Ukraine is helping a country from being invaded. The US government spends far more on military than other countries meanwhile social services that the average person benefits from keep getting gutted to increase the military budget.

You can be pro Ukraine aid while also thinking the US spends too much on military.

So at my job, our IT department is of about 600 employees, and I have no idea what they do and why we need so much IT personnel. Of those 600 employees, Ive only ever talked to like 20 experts who know everything about a specific discipline I needed their help in, in setting up a web-based COTS program (cybersecurity, SQL database, Apache web server, etc.).

When one of them was out, and the one system happen to go down during the pilot, I couldnt find a replacement (even with the IT management help) that knew how to fix it and the entire project was on a standstill until he came back.

Because companies don't work 24/7? We have normal hours like anyone else. If we close our doors at 6, we might stay until 7 or 8, but after that we clock out just like anyone else.

If its a networking position where people have to come in after hours, they just adjust their schedule. So they still work the same amount of hours, just move those hours around.

What large company doesnt run 24/7?

IT needs to be a 24/7 operation, and it constantly breaks down. I feel like if youre in IT operations, youll just always be on call.

Fixed week fixed location timeshares are an incredibly dated concept within the industry. Most other companies have moved onto points based destination vacations.

Its not a floating nor points based timeshare, which I read sucks because- a) everyone already gets the best floating weeks before you even have a chance to get one, and b) everyone already gets the best points or start a bidding war where the amount of points you have is now too little for the prime travel times/locations.

Off a resale website for $1. Deeded, fixed week in the summer (July), 4 bedroom/4 bathroom unit, 2023 maintenance cost $900/yr (prepaid by seller); maintenance cost increases at an average rate of 7% per year, and there were no special assessment fees in the years owned by the current seller.

We go to this vacation area once a year (except 2020/2021 due to Covid), and now that we have a kid and have a desire to travel with our parents (so they can watch our kid while we have fun lol), this is starting to make more sense at ~$130/day (vs what would cost at least $300/day for two rooms at a hotel during peak season).

And once our kid(s) grow up / our parents can no longer travel in 5-10 years time, just re-sell the timeshare for $1+closing+transfer cost (no clue how much this is; thoughts?).

Anyone have experience with timeshare? Anyone see a flaw in this logic?
