Its just kind of leftover bad will from the bad Xbone launch and the 360 getting complacent and focusing too much on the Kinect during the end of its life cycle, both of which are big reasons everyone just got a PS3/4.

By now, the PS5 and XSX are like, basically the same anyways, but Gamepass is a great deal and the Series S is the current best way to game on a budget bar none.

Is it like, a cool apocalypse with like Zombies or something? Or like a depressing "everything is always horrible" apocalypse like in The Road?

I mean, I'd die pretty fast regardless because there is no way I'm capable of handling myself in that kind of situation, but at least a more fun apocalypse could make it somewhat more worthwhile.

It could even be an "I am Legend" thing where we kind of just rebuild society but as weird vampire things now.

Even as someone who likes them and probably has a couple more than I really should... no they're worthless.

Its a fun little Beanie Babies-esque thing, which is fine by itself, though its pretty awful stuff like the whole throwing them away intentionally and whatnot, or how dangerous all those plastics being plopped into the environment will be causing.

But if you want a fun little knick knack to show off you liking kind of a niche topic, Funkos are pretty perfect for that.

Ratchet and Clank Rifts Apart

There are some moments in that game that are just overwhelming and could never have been done on a ps4.

Denon's Souls Remake also looks really good.

Rift Apart should get a lot of praise, given its effectively a tech-demo for what the PS5 could do.

Celeste and Stardew are both instant classic games and some of the best games of their generation as far as I'm concerned.

Those are the only two I've played tho. I have Monster Sanctuary, but I've not gotten around to actually playing it yet.

Wait until we get a classic wrestling swerve and Vince set the price too high on purpose so he can justify "selling" to HHH and Stephanie, and this whole thing was just a stunt for publicity before the company tries to go private again.

I feel like any of the people who are actually supporting JK Rowling just see her crying about being a victim and kind of take her at face value, without really understanding that she's bringing all of this on herself and is the one actively attacking a minority group.

Like you have a friend telling you about their bully, and then you see that people don't like them. But what you don't see is that people don't like your friend because they're actually just the most insufferable asshole and all of this is pretty well-deserved. And the friend is just crying about how they're the real victim here even though all of these problems are obviously self-inflicted.

I mean, making Fresh Prince a drama isn't the worst idea in the world IMO. Its one of the classic sitcoms that I think make a lot more sense with a different tone.

The sitcoms that didn't have at least a vaguely dramatic set up wouldn't work like this though. A drama about a poor mother sending her son across the country for a better upbringing with wealthier relatives is a solid idea for a drama.

I want them to just say **** it and make an Adam-West styled Batman game.

That would be hella fun.

If you aren't basically an over-the-top goodie to shoes against Deimos at every turn, he'll fight you regardless and then your choice is whether or not to kill him. If you don't kill him he becomes a random mercenary for you to hunt.

Doesn't it just kind of keep going after the ending? I don't think you need to go back to an older save.

Honestly, if RE6 wasn't called RE6 it would probably be remembered better. It was 100% going all in on the clunky actiony-crazyness and greatly incentivizes you to run around specifically like you're in an popcorn zombie flick.

This is however, like the exact opposite of what you did in previous RE games.

Trump is too stupid to actually conduct the like, fascism the Conservative Party wants to install, and he's done all he really can riling up the MAGA crowd.

So the conservative movement wants to remove him and replace him with someone who is actually smart enough to destroy America the way conservatives want. But the problem is that a big part of Trumps appeal is that he's another stupid MAGA idiot who's drank his own Kool-aid. The MAGA crowd isn't gonna follow a generic idiot in a suit trying to do a Trump impression (DeSantis), and that fanaticism is required to actually pull the horrendous stuff the GOP wants to pull.

The Hobbit movies weren't that great, but Martin Freeman was an incredible Bilbo.

Given that this is a very intentional malicious lie with the intent to hurt Biden, if something like Fox News actually treated it as serious, it would probably be the most open and shut "We're very explicitly slandering you illegally" and all Biden would need to do is prove the video is fake, which is really obvious if you are paying attention.

They're both horrible monsters, but DeSantis has this weird kind of "regular politician" vibe to it that will make many people think he isn't the current largest threat to American Democracy.

Trump drinks his own Kool-aid and is off the cuff enough everyone can tell he's off his rocker, which at least makes it easier to fight back against him.

Trump can actually be defeated, DeSantis won't let us have the chance to.

Oberyn Martell I guess. He wasn't a big deal for too long, but he definitely made the most out of it.

Joel has some potential though depending on how the rest of the season of TLOU goes. That last episode is gonna be a Joel-heavy one.

I don't, but I picked up a Series S so I'm not really in an immediate desire to go pick one up.

I didn't get a PS4 until the PS5 had already come out, so I think I can wait a little bit for it.

A lot of people decided to die on the Hogwarts Legacy hill even though it was obviously always a battle they could never win.

Nothing about Hogwarts Legacy was ever going to not be successful, all getting upset at others not boycotting the game was making excuses to paint "trans advocates" in a bad light.

There are definitely areas of science where the science is well... settled. There will never be something to completely uplift in a way that we realize something like climate change isn't real. Its such a well-supported thing that it apparently being wrong would completely destroy decades of otherwise sound science from a ton of different fields.

The problem is a lot of the areas where the science is settled are fought against for stupid reasons.

I have the physical game for my Xbone, but never got around to playing it. I wonder if I can get the next-gen upgrade from that, then I could play on my Series S...

Jeff Hardy and Sunny are (former) pro wrestling stars with a long history of drug or alcohol problems and have recently been in issues where they were pulled over for a DUI doing like 3-x the legal limit.

In early 2022, Sunny was in a DUI-related crash that killed an old man, and is currently awaiting a DUI + Manslaughter charge that can send her to jail for 20+ years if convicted.

Jeff was arrested for a similar crazy drunk DUI, though he was lucky enough to not have hurt anyone. It was however his 3rd DUI in Florida in 10 years, and repeat offences aren't looked upon well.

Jeff's court date was in the past week or so, where he managed to avoid jail time, though he has a ton of things surrounding probation (IIRC his license has been suspended for like 10 years, he has to attend rehab and etc...).

Dutch Mantell is an old retired wrestler who has a podcast. Wrestler-podcasts are a surprisingly overstaurated market, and so basically every one of these podcasts needs to refer to modern events to stay relevant. He believes Jeff should have been treated more harshly for something so stupid and dangerous.

Does it have to be a game that came out in each year? Because I'm a pretty patient gamer. But I'll try... If it doesn't a couple of these move around and some older games take some spots too.

I did also have to look some of these up to see what games came out in what year.

RE6 is an awesome game

This. RE6 is RE going all out with the dumb action B-movie stuff and its great. If you can handle the clunky controls (which really incentivize like sprinting around like an action hero and disincentivize the stuff you might imagine, like, cover) it can be a really fun game when it finally gets going.

A good remake could legitimately make RE6 a classic.

Why is this game even trying to be a sequel to Arkham Knight? Its so much more over the top its ridiculous to consider them remotely the same series.

Also, If this is a sequel to the Arkham games, why TF are they not includingthe Arkham Knight/Red Hood who would probably fit pretty incredibly into this kind of gameplay?

I don't know, but I think Furry Guitar Hero might have been cooler than furry teen-angst or whatever this game is.

ngl, a game where you play as a dog and herd people sounds like it'll be one of those games like the cat one where its super popular for like, a week and then is forgotten about completely.
