The owners would be free to punish them for striking. The simplest thing to do would be to just fire anyone who strikes, but then the question is where will they find new workers.

True, but if SCOTUS wants to overturn Obergefell wouldn't they just strike down any federal protections of gay marriage anyway? Constitutional amendments are the only real way for Congress to block SCOTUS decisions.

It's not really the twists themselves that bother me, it's the fandom overreactions. It gets old seeing mediocre series get hyped up just because they're darker and edgier than expected. And then there's the opposite case where the show is actually good, but it's impossible to recommend or discuss because you "can't" hint at a twist at all.

School-Live manga >>> School-Live anime, at least for the part of the story that both of them cover. I'm really not a fan of the way the anime turned the focus on cuteness up to eleven, plus the manga plot made a lot more sense.

Unrelated to that, I don't like the trend of shocking first episode premise twists that School-Live started. It gets old hearing that you have to watch the first episode blind for a show to be good, which usually just means it's a "surprise" violent show with nothing else worth noting.

Probably not, though? The joke itself is older than cars, which means the whole "crossing the road is dangerous" idea doesn't work. It's just an anti-joke.

Virginia Tech's season has been pretty miserable, but at least I can take solace in beating Liberty.

I'm glad VT beat Liberty, but I'm still mad we scheduled them at all. Nobody should play Liberty, they're an awful school and don't deserve the publicity/money.

See, the difference is that you're putting "real" in quotes to describe the Grinch. He's not the actual official Santa in any sense. Even mall Santas can say "being Santa" is their job, but can the Grinch?

I don't think anyone's arguing that "Santa from The Grinch" should be allowed in. Such a character doesn't even exist; it's implied that there is a Santa, but we never actually see him during the story. None of this has anything to do with whether the Grinch is himself Santa in some way (rather than just wearing a Santa disguise).

Elon Musk is incredibly gifted at convincing other rich people to give him money, obviously. How else could he become the world's richest man despite being an idiot?

What? The Grinch not only isn't doing Santa stuff for most of the story, he's literally doing the exact opposite. He is like the least Santa-ish character.
