That's a double standard but I totally get what he's saying. People forgive a lot of terrible, cringe dialogue in Japanese games for no particular reason other then it's Japanese. New Fire Emblem is a good example of that, I'm enjoying the game well enough only a few chapters in but I am absolutely not feeling the dialogue at all. But no one talks shit about that because anime makes it better?

Think most know the story by now. GF moved in a few months back and think shes in a pretty bad place money wise. She doesnt have a job (she is looking) and shes asked if she can borrow a bit of money per month so she can do things to keep her sane

Shes telling me that in a relationship money should be both of ours and when she gets a job shell return the favour / contribute to rent etc which I think is fair.

Is it worth the hassle of officially agreeing to have it repaid when she has a job but Im not sure its right to write up a contract or something.

Having said THAT, nurses appear to do a very difficult job, are underappreciated, and the covid pandemic must've been an absolute nightmare. A lot of public sector jobs have barely had a pay increase in a decade, as well. I do support the railway workers' strike, though, and the postel workers' strike.

It wasnt unexpected but people did not think it was going to be that big of a number, in my family there have been plant closures and reduction of hours and overall scary times. RIP Seattle too because Amazon announced 18,000 jobs will be cut last month. Fucking Trump is an asshole.
