There's people from East Asia who are whiter than people from Southern Europe, yet one isn't considered white and the other is, or at least, should unless you're some fringe white nationalist group. What about people from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, etc. who appear white? Modern race construct is strongly tied to physical appearance but that wasn't always the only case and perception could be more fluid. We do use Css, javasript, and html. In fact, most of the front end and back end is pretty much based off of the those those technologies.
Apex is just Java with DML operations (for the most part).

So I can jump into Java and have a slightly easier time to learn that. But I learned pretty much most of the full stack concept from Salesforce.
I know what MVC is. I learned about the snapshot of a web page. I learned about web api and integrations. So while I am skeptical about Salesforce myself. I do believe I can learn some of the mainstream stuff a but easier because of it.

Edit: I am Mega skeptical but it is popping up everywhere. They pay well and most places want you to have knowledge of other technol anyway.
