like it's taking place at a very specific place in the game's timeline and has dialogue from Heidegger, Reeve, I think Hojo (or maybe he was just mentioned), and Tifa

really easy way to get that win with a snap quest done (thanks for the correction foolmo, it actually works just like you said)

just went from 1/10 to 10/10 in like 40 minutes that way. Wasn't even using Lockjaw either, just playing it on 5 when I knew they had something more than just big points lined up for turn 6

I believe that type of quest only counts it if the snap actually goes through. Like if you snap and they immediately retreat thats not a win with a snap, but if they retreated the next turn it would be.

Won against the first person to use Kang against me by simply playing a completely different card than I did on the undone turn, hope they didn't need those eight cubes

I only recently learned that Weirdworld is amazing for The Collector. The opponents deck isnt your deck, so every draw gives him a boost

people do pick Battle on the Big Bridge or one of its many arrangements quite a lot in my experience

I don't think we know exactly how Kitty works but I assume that yeah, you can move her back into your hand at the start of a turn. You probably can't play it again on that same turn though

Yes, and you can even earn other variants for it at that point. The base card will still get unlocked at some point from progressing your CL.

Oh also reminder that the way the game currently works, the contents of any collector's reserves you open are determined when you open it, not when you earn it. So if you want a better chance at getting some of those random special variants for next season, hold off on opening any more collector's reserves, wait until those variants get added. If you're newer to the game, it's worth knowing that unlike typical randomly-earned variants, these limited time variants from events can be won even if you don't own the base card! You do have to be collector level 1000 to start getting reserves though.

I just don't understand these people that are so afraid to snap when they have great hands and great locations. Dude had the perfect shuri red skull hand on a board with TWO sinister londons, and I even snapped early, but the guy was too fucking scared so he only got two cubes when he could've had 8. The guy did fuck up and not play the Shuri to one of the londons, but they didn't even need it anyway.

I just cant stand how your turns get constantly interrupted by battle messages (all while the timer continues to tick down), shit is laggy as hell, the menus to get into battles are bad, one shitty teammate ruins it for everybody

Do you mean that Absorbing Man doesn't perform the copied action twice when he's played on Wong or Kamar-Taj, or do you mean that Absorbing Man doesn't perform the action twice when the card he's copying is at Wong or Kamar-Taj? If the former, that was supposed to have been fixed in the last patch, so you may want to report that as a bug if that's what happened. If you mean the latter, why would it? He just copies the ability that's on the card, and the card doesn't say anything about being performed twice. If you mean that Absorbing Man doesn't copy two effects when he's at those locations, that's intentional, same as with Mystique or Rogue. The original On Reveal effect they have gets erased by the new ability they copy.

Moon Girl Kang seems very very silly

on top of getting to Kang twice, even if your hand is full after playing Moon Girl and you cant draw next turn, if you play Kang that turn your hand will be one card smaller on the reset so youll still get a card anyway.

I'm assuming you don't have Shuri.

Zero helps when you don't draw Sauron. You may want to re-read Sauron's ability though, I don't really see the point of Infinaut here. Armor would also be good since Shang-Chi is so common right now and you have a lot of big boys. If you've got Sauron and Zero, then Typhoid Mary makes more sense than Crossbones who doesn't get affected by them.

Dont let go early, because that will fail the hold before the directional input, but Im almost positive the game doesnt actually care about whether youre still holding it once you do the directional input, unlike regular hold triggers.

edit, just did some testing and can say 100% that it doesn't care about when you let go as long as it's not before the directional input. Also the next batch of DLC songs (from LIVE-A-LIVE) are out now.

You can also just fill up the right location before you play Sentry to avoid his drawback. Or after Zero, or in a Cosmo lane.

Some cards would be much better, some would be much worse. Discard would become nearly impossible to beat if there was no chance of ever discarding Hela

People have found some ways of getting infinite loops with Kang. It involves duplicating Kang without the first Kang triggering. For example, if you have played Cosmo on Sinister London then play Kang there, the first one wont trigger, but the second created at another location will. Since that duplicate is the one that triggered the effect, it is removed from the game, but the original would be back in your hand.

The one I don't get is hitting a ton of enemy weaknesses. Seems like you'd have to memorize enemy layouts for that song.

The fucked up thing is that you can even get this on songs where they just straight up dont have weaknesses, I only know of Lillisette being able to create a weakness but there might be a couple more

Finally picked it up now that I'm back in town and of course I blitzed through XIV as my first pack (and 5 as my second.)

I concur with plum from earlier. My brain does not. NOT. Want to parse what's going on with the trigger slide release trigger and hit another trigger things in battle. Them and the double stick same direction triggers are what's stopping me from starting Ultimate and going ham on it.

The ones that have a touch trigger at the start and end of a short hold trigger are what made me have to start using L and R triggers instead of face buttons, it INSTANTLY made a difference for me.

Man I just now realized that a "Defeat the boss within 30 seconds" quest means "within 30 seconds of the boss appearing," not "within the first 30 seconds of the song starting"

Yeah there are technically two different rainbow backgrounds you can get, one of them tends to obscure the background while the other doesnt as much. It also depends a little on how bright or dark the background was to begin with.

I was using Venom in my Deathwave for a while but I eventually swapped in Moon Girl because the double Death was too good to pass up. Double She Hulk, or an Aero each on turns 5 and 6 also win a decent amount of the time

oh wow, so on their Discord the devs said that if you drew Kang on the turn you play him, when you reset the turn without him you will draw the next card instead. That makes this card way stronger than I was expecting.

That seems silly when you can just destroy the wolverine with Carnage and get the same amount of power. Or were they like using Beast to scoop it back up after destroying it once and then playing it again after playing Shuri? That seems like way too many steps for not that much power

Might also be able to do Ace, Aphmau, Lightning 2 with all their skills that reduce the required number of triggers for spells plus Terra with Dualcast, and fill the rest of the slots with the most frequent spells? Not sure if that would actually add up to enough

Its easier than the Oracles but probably harder than the average 3D Zelda

I think aero should be changed to move only the first card played by your opponent that turn. it will still be good and still win you a bunch of games but it will give solid counterplay too, especially to combo oriented decks

I think that might be too much of a nerf, but moving them in the order they were played wouldn't be horrible. Plus shave a point or two off of her
