If the line is moving up, push your stick up. if its moving down, push it down. You cant overshoot it or anything like that, so dont worry about pushing too hard.

The thing I had to retrain my brain for were double notes or notes during a hold. Certain patterns were literally impossible for my brain to process when I was using a button and a trigger, so I have to use just triggers now

Despite having played nothing that would strongly suggest I had Moon Girl in my deck, this guy played Ronan on the same turn I used her. Nothing else in his deck added cards to my hand. (I know because he used MODOK so I got to see them all.) Who the hell just randomly puts that in their ramp MODOK Hela deck???

It got a lot of praise, but there were many people who saw "cards" and instantly wrote it off despite it not really being a card game in the same way as the current fad genre.

Like with the XCOM games though I'm waiting for a bundle of all content to come out a year from now before I buy it

Ive been going back and forth on whether I should swap Dr Doom in my Deathwave deck for Aero. Doom is good since I often find myself playing for all three lanes with this deck, and is a decent counter to Aero which otherwise kills this deck. But Aero is such a good card that would work great for this deck. I dont think I have the space for both of them.

I was using Mojo in my Negative deck before the Zabu change when I swapped the cat in his place. He can work in a deck that frequently fills the board, or something using Spectrum as a win condition

since you cant fall below 100 once you reach Infinite, a player could definitely reach Infinite and then tank their MMR either by getting on a bad streak, caring less about winning, or even playing mediocre decks for fun and get matched with lower people as a result

also could be a bot, they can have whatever card back they want. sometimes theyll even have infinity split cards with no foil background but with one of the other split features, which is impossible for real players

If you reopen it you can usually reconnect to the same game. You might have lost a turn though

Earlier I had someone play MODOK, which proceeded to discard all their powerful cards. They then retreated.

Those trackers are actually pretty useful right now since many times if someone plays MODOK their discards get fast-forwarded through, but the tracker can still see what they discarded. That way you know whether they had Swarm and how big their Apocalypse is

Or at least the one by Untapped does that, not sure on the snapzone one

Actually I'm not sure if Apocalypse shows up in the tracker like that, probably not. But the fact that you don't see their Apocalypse during the fast-forward is a problem either way

You had priority that turn I assume, otherwise it doesn't make sense to me. What happened was:

previous turn: opponent played Shuri last
this turn: you played Doctor Octopus and they played Red Skull
You flip first, revealing Doctor Octopus who pulls the other three cards down. Red Skull is still face down because it's still your turn. Zola flips up first. Face down cards cannot be destroyed, so he has nothing to destroy. Mystique flips up, the last card the opponent played was Shuri, which has no Ongoing so nothing is copied. Taskmaster flips up, the last card the opponent played was Shuri, so it copies Shuri's 2 power. Red Skull flips up, since it is the next card the opponent played after Shuri it gets double power.

Their next play was going to be either Taskmaster on another lane to copy Red Skull's 30 power, or Zola in Red Skull's lane to send 30 power to both other lanes, but your Ock ruined both plays. Looking at your hand, it is not inconceivable that they could still win but they don't know what cards you had so the Retreat was the better option.

for gold, sometimes limited time bundles appear in the shop that are the most-efficient way to spend gold to get cards quicker, but I think some of those are not available to players before Collection Level 1000. Other than that, spending gold to get more daily missions is slightly more efficient than just spending gold directly on credits, but not by much.

Bots exist at all levels of play, because they need ways to inject more cubes into the rank economy, and because they will put you in a bot match if matchmaking takes too long

I believe its even been confirmed by devs that at higher levels there are bots that cheatthey essentially have Daredevil active every turn

Bots often use Shang-Chi and Aero avatars too

Other stuff that buffs Collector that you may not have seen before:
-Apocalypse getting discarded
-A card getting kicked from Lukes Bar
-Falcon or Beast picking a card up

Just found out that the copies of your opening hand when you fill the new location are copies of however they currently are on the board (and I assume in your hand if like Scorpion got them or something and you havent played it)

so if you had Sunspot in your opening hand, played it, and its soaked up a few points when you fill the new location, the second Sunspot you get will have that same amount of points

Also useful with Lockjaw to get Wasp to play in the Lockjaw lane for free

Thor is usually paired with Lockjaw for this reason, they all work together pretty nicely

Super Skrull is a relative rarity, Ive only seen it like twice. I dont know what happens if both sides play one, does the first one played get the effects of the other, or vice-versa? Or neither?

I just impulsively bought Rogue because I wanted her and having her sooner means potentially getting Variants of her sooner. I dunno how much work shell do for me without some other cards, but her ability is based on stealing an enemys Ongoing so it feels like its more of what my enemy has than my own deck anyways. If they have no Ongoings I guess she would just not be played by me that match?

Rogue is ideal as an alternative to Enchantress if your own deck has a lot of Ongoings that you would rather not hit. Pairs alright with Mystique too, you can play both on turn 6 for a nice turnaround (Mystique will copy the thing Rogue steals, ideally Iron Man or Blue Marvel

Not really vibing with MODOK yet but I'll figure out a way to use him. I've tried Hela and Mephisto and while they've both worked the decks aren't very fun. I might need to wait till Dracula.

Surfer will still be pretty good I think, Zabu gets hurt a good bit. Can't play two 4-costs on 4 or 5 anymore. Might still be a good card but the decks built around it will probably have to be significantly different.

Poor guy, we got Lamentis on first location reveal and I snapped right away because I had Moon Girl. As I learned over the next three turns, the only cards he drew were discards, with none of the cards that benefit from a discard. He didnt retreat, he just played the first three cards he could which discarded the other three and then just passed every turn after that
