Wow. I'm choking hard against King Berserker. Three times I've died now getting his health down to two bars.

The guy has so much HP and does way too much damage. So this fight requires you to fight a perfect battle for a lengthy period of time. Real Dark Eater Midir kinda endurance battle it is. I've been at it for a while. Might need to take a break

Literally every non-collectathon favor and even some of the collectathon ones. Vanaheim has a huge open-world area that is only accessible after doing a certain favor that leads to so much content. And that is just one example. As for the bosses. The Berserkers (which even better than GoW 2018's epic Valkyrie fights, the Dragons which are a spectacle to fight with production values matching those of main story bosses.

And why does it game have barely any discussions and activity on the site? Game is brimming with content yet Sonic Frontiers has more discussions than this. It is not even on the Top 10 page on the website when God of War 2018 is. Are not many people playing this or are people still having trouble procuring a PS5?

Checking the previous posts now and it is really disappointing to see that people are skipping side quests when this game has some of the best in any video game. So much world-building, huge new areas and epic bosses behind those side quests.

I highly suggest people go back to it if they have been avoiding it.

God of War Ragnarok beated. Holy fuck my emotions. What a game.

The review that said this game makes God of War 2018 feel like a prologue was not an overstatement by any stretch of the imagination. This has set the bar for future AAA games and that bar is extremely high.

Now on to post-game and tying up loose ends.

Probably my favorite Trails game. Excellent set up for the epic finale. I would say the set up is epic in itself.

I'm not reading anything here yet but I just came in to say that this would have easily been the best video game to come out in years and an easy GotY if the literal greatest video game of all time didn't just come out in the very same year. Fuck the people all over the internet comparing this to Horizon Forbidden West. Pretty sure these people didn't play the game past the first 5 hours.

Wasn't there a controversial Gamespot or was it IGN review for Sword and Shield where the reviewer called it the best game in the series and the fanbase absolutely crucified her on social media? What was the actual score that caused the meltdown antithesis of Twilight Princess' 8.8?

Nearly one billion dollars in sales per mainline game on average is not an extremely small percentage. It might not be their primary source of revenue but it is one of the driving factors behind it.

Pokemon is gonna make a fuck ton of money no matter what. Even if the game reviewed like Superman 64, even if the game was broken and buggy like Cyberpunk at launch, it is still gonna end up with like at least 10million in sales.

So no matter how much people complain, GameFreak is just gonna be lazy and release subpar titles which sell like hotcakes anyway because let us be real Pokemon sales are just bulletproof at this point.

They can release a Pokemon Survive game like Metal Gear Survive, only you palette swap the main character with Pikachu and it is likely gonna outsell 80% of the games which release in the year.

This is reviewing worse than Sword/Shield. I was hoping Arceus was an indicator for good things to come but this has seriously deflated any hype I had for a good mainline Pokemon game.

Slooooow drivers on a narrow two way lane. And the worst ones having the gall to have this disgusted look on their face when you finally pass them.

Racer drivers are usually a danger to themselves rather than to you unless they are the type to tailgate and cut you off at every turn.

Drunk drivers are objectively the worst but I vote slow drivers because drunk drivers are much rarer and they usually end up getting caught and penalized anyway.

Considering how GameFreak does the bare minimum when it comes to production values and pushing the limits of literally any system the Pokemon games have been on, it is baffling that these games have performance issues of all things.

Game was so fucking boring coming off of Bowser's Inside Story and killed any interest I had for future Mario & Luigi games. I dropped the game after a couple of hours so can't rate it.

Feel bad voting against Shenmue II since I love that game but DQ8 is the better game and Shenmue III hurt the series really badly.

This is a pretty good side story weighed down by the game being far too short (it is a glorified DLC after all) therefore not giving the characters nearly enough time for any meaningful development. The Tinkerer twist is the kind of tacked on twist that everyone could see coming a mile away yet the kind that no wishes it actually comes true, but it does and it's just so lame. Minus points for that and the game just being too short to really do anything really epic on the scale of Spider-Man 2018.

Does this game have good or bad press leading into its release? All I know is that I heard it was an open-world game with gym leaders (not sure whether true). I'm really hoping this game turns out good because all of the other major Nintendo IPs have delivered big time on the Nintendo Switch.

Sword/Shield was such a bare bones skeleton of a Pokemon experience that it killed off any interest I had in the series. I tried Arceus and liked a lot of the things that they did in the game but ultimately quit due to boredom from the repetitive gameplay loop and the excessive dialogue in a ho hum run of the mill JRPG story. It did however renew my interest in a future mainline Pokemon (said future game which is now Pokemon Scarlet/Violet) game because I'm hoping it would turn out to be the experience that Sword/Shield failed to deliver.

Bayonetta 3 Infinite Climax playthrough and Sonic Frontiers are taking a backseat to Dad of Boy 2. Not to mention Tactics Ogre and Pokemon will have come out too when I'm done. What a month for video games.

Game is surprisingly quite fun but lacks a certain bit of polish which results in quite a janky experience. God of War Ragnarok is arriving at my doorstep tomorrow so RIP playthrough until I'm done with that.

It did very well in GotD. It just ran into a Western game SFF buzzsaw machine. Didn't you see what Witcher 3 did to Ass ass in Creed and Mass Effect 3.

I feel Elden Ring is already about as strong as Smash Ultimate and God of War Ragnarok should be about equal in strength to God of War (2018) so the results should be somewhere in the ballpark of a 55-45 in Elden Ring's favor. But why do I have a feeling that Elden Ring is instead gonna do what Witcher 3 did to God of War in GotD2 than what Smash did in GotY.

What in the fucking hell is this result? Holy shit. This is like the worst upset in the history of Board 8 tournaments.

Sounds like something a NES or early SNES game used to do. Usually play my games on Normal for a first playthrough, if that's true need to change that. Weird that a game in 2022 is doing that especially a (semi) open world one.. sorry meant open 'zone' game.

So so story. Don't really like the new generation Kombatants as much as the old ones.

Reviews are about as expected. Which is ridiculous that it has lived up to such a hype.

Can't wait to play this game.
