This is generally true. Rich and bourgeois kids are a different story, however - their class actually controls how the world works, so there is literally zero reason for them to grow up. People like Richard Spencer are an example of this - if his class literally didn't raise him to be the worst sort of snot alive, he might not have actually become a Nazi. And there's literally no reason for him to change - he benefits from being the sort of person he is because society encourages it. And he uses his material wealth to gather influence and spread the cancer that is himself, even to kids and grown men who are outside his class - and once grown men start getting affected, they aren't going to grow up. Curing them of their worldview will take active effort. This is a thread about Andrew Tate, though, and he's probably pretty much the same thing as Spencer but even greater.

Honestly this movie sucks. It's one of those miserablist movies, you know, the kind centered on lots of bad stuff happening to the main cast movies, with nice visuals and all that, but it's also incredibly insincere and over the top to the point that it could easily be a parody of movies like Ivan's Childhood, Come and See or The Ascent. You should just watch those movies.

I'm a huge disc collector, so all of the films on that list were films I bought, either last year or at the tail end of the prior year (Current, Wolfwalkers and Merry-Go-Round, for example, came out on Blu-ray in December of 2021). So my list is basically just my reaction to movies coming out on Blu-ray. The sort-of-exceptiion is the two Patrick Bokanowski films. I'm not sure when those discs came out.

If you like David Lynch's early works - Eraserhead and before - you'll definitely get something out of Patrick Bokanowski's first three films. His later work is more conventional 'experimental cinema' fare, which is fantastic but not mind blowing like the early work.

He later decided to re-write the outline for the series, making only three movies, putting Leia and Han together, and indeed making Luke and Leia brother and sister at the behest of the Paramount executive. He expressed regret for his decision later on, when he realized he wasn't working at Paramount at the time he made the movies.
