Yeah, I think they've all been like that except the Sevii Islands one in FRLG and the one in the Wild Area.

I think Team Zenos just has too many revives here to lose. I can't see Garrus or Zeratul taking out everyone they need to with Tetrakarns around, and if they can't, I don't see Raiden beating Zenos with buffs.

The whole undead thing in Final Fantasy is made even more confusing with Auron. He can be healed normally the whole game, even after the revelation.

Since this place is so big, there's nothing stopping Kiryu from Tetrakarning his entire team, right? Maybe SP is an issue, but I think even Kanji has enough SP to Tetrakarn his entire team.

He's only 31. Give it a couple more years before they go after him.

So the FOMO got to me too hard and I ended up buying Birthright and Revelation.

I finished Birthright, and while it didn't have many highs, it didn't have many lows either. The only map I really hated was the one against Camilla in the sewers. Other than that, while there were some map gimmicks, they didn't end up taking center stage like the gimmicks in Conquest. The story was nothing to write home about, but it was better than Conquest. All in all, it's a low-mid tier FE, but I did enjoy it more than Conquest (yeah, I'm not afraid to say it).

Revelation is a whole other beast. The first map sucked, especially since you only had 3 people for most of it, and since I played male Corrin, two of them were very weak in combat (I hear Jakob can hold his own a little, but I never played F!Corrin to confirm or deny). The second map was probably the best one so far, even if that sucked because I had four people and I had to rely on Corrin since he's the only one who can take more than one attack (and even then I had to have Azura tank something). Fuga's Wild Ride sucks, and it sucks even more when you have guys like Subaki as one of your better combat units. I just got to the snow shoveling map, and it's even worse than advertised. Who's bright idea was it to only let you deploy 6 units in this map? I can already tell this game is going to be an... experience.

The issue is, even if Kirby gets away, it still leads to a 4 v 3 where the strongest member of the team down in numbers doesn't have to be taken out. Kiryu can hand out his Staminans to heal up, whereas Kirby has no way of healing himself. I don't see an injured Kirby and Sagat very long against Selvaria, Kiryu, and Tifa.

Drak brought up a good point in the Discord about how Selvaria prioritizes Zenos's safety above all else, and Zenos is probably going to be counter-attacked by Aigis and Kirby. So she'll disobey the other orders to protect Zenos, and if that's the case Team Zenos wins.

Yeah, I think they said something like it causes a game over if anyone dies, which means the reviewer didn't get past the first few chapters.

How literally are we taking "entrance"? Like literally the loading zone or are they in the center of the first room? Because I re-read the terrain and it said Spiral Mountain is accessible. It's possible that Tifa gets knocked out of the lair entirely and either onto the bridge or below the lair's entrance. If she falls that far, I think it's a lot more likely that Aigis and Kirby escape.

There's no quick way for Sagat and Tusk to get to the starting point unless the warp cauldrons or Dingpot are there. Banjo and Kazooie needed Dingpot to get to the top of the lair, so Tusk and Sagat aren't getting there if the lair is empty (unless Tusk can fly. I don't know him at all). And even then, Sagat isn't surviving that fall like Grunty did. The closest warp cauldron that can get them somewhere close to the entrance is around the entrance to Click Clock Wood, and that's assuming that it's there, they know that it's there, and they know that it'll take them where they need to go. That's too much of a stretch for me.

To me, this comes down to whether or not Zenos kills Aigis and Kirby before Selvaria can interfere. Because if this comes down to Sagat vs. Selvaria, Kiryu, and Tifa, it won't be pretty.

After having to listen to all those codes between Raiden and Rose, I get the impression that they fought over stuff like that all the time.

I think the lack of taste receptors means no.

I do have a question about Kiryu, however. Are we going to take his "won't fight women" thing at face value? He won't hit your female party members in LAD, so it's more than just a statement from the creator. There's also his "never killed anyone" thing, but that's such a meme for how wrong it is that it's probably not an issue.

The gun weakness in Yu's bio is a reference to Shinjiro dying from a gunshot in Persona 3. It happened during the Dark Hour, so he had access to his Persona when it happened.

Kirby paid down to low is something I'm going to have to get used to.

Yeah, they shot themselves in the foot by doing online after having an onsite SGDQ. But I can understand why they wouldn't want to go to Florida right now.

Even then there are some really awful designs. I know it's a low hanging fruit but god does f!Byleth's design suck.

If it weren't for Shez, I'd think that they intentionally design the female avatars to look as bad as possible nowadays. F!Byleth and F!Alear are two of the worst designed characters in the series.

It does if we're just counting western releases. Genealogy and Thracia beat it, but out of all the western releases, Echoes is the only one I could humor an argument as to why it should knock PoR out of the top 3, and Echoes is way too flawed to belong there. For western releases only, PoR, RD, and TH are the top 3 and it's not close.

Fates is still too high. Maybe I could see Birthright over Shadow Dragon, but the other two routes just drag it down too much.

Lamar just basically confirmed what we've all known for weeks now. He's done for the year.

Well, it is his last chance at redemption since he's played pretty mediocrely ever since week 3, and then missed the last 5 regular season games with an injury. I think you'd have to be foolish to give him the contract he wants after the season he had. Not to mention the fact that he's been declining every year since he won MVP.

He really has the Ravens in an awful situation. They can either trade him and play the QB lottery again, or sign him to a massive contract that he's probably not going to live up to, leading them to mediocrity like after Flacco signed that huge deal.

Between this and getting an overpowered paradox form, it's been a good few months for Delibird.

Hopkins is going to be 31 next season, so I imagine that'll be a slight hit to what they can get for him.

For whatever reason, the Ravens thought that they had something with Devin Duvernay and James Proche. Though I don't know if they really thought that or if that was just an excuse for why they didn't get any real receivers.

While I agree that that the Ravens are living off of the reputation Ozzie Newsome built, I think the only place they really failed Lamar was at WR. He's got top talent around him on the rest of the offense, the problem is that Dobbins and Edwards got hurt before the start of last year and didn't get back until Lamar got hurt this year. So Lamar had to be RB1 in addition to QB1 because of that. They've even tried at WR, spending 8 picks in the draft on WR since they drafted Lamar. The issue there is they've never been able to develop receivers (the best one they've ever developed is probably Torrey Smith, and a lot of his value came from his ability to draw DPI). They just hate giving up high draft picks, but that's what they should've done to get a real WR.

Iron Bundle was a warning. We had to take out Delibird before we got to the future where it becomes overpowered.
