One thing that a lot of people overlook is that a rifle or shotgun going off in a small room is gonna make you damn near deaf and disorient you.Anything bigger than .22 and it's not going to matter, you're temp going deaf regardless. yemmy posted... shotguns are long, have limited capacity, arent easy to handle, and a pump action requires a good bit of training.I'd argue it takes more training to use a slide action pistol than pump action shotty. Also I don't think I've used a pump that doesn't have clip capacity, so they don't have to be that limited. yemmy posted... Also buckshot does more damage to drywall than a rifle or pistol round. The notion that allowing trans people to use the bathroom will endanger people is false.No, but I'm not sure just letting anyone walk into any restroom is the solution either, especially at high school age. Stats is too advanced for most high schoolers to even get to. You can't teach it in a meaningful way without a couple levels of algebra. At best the more advanced students would be taking it junior year, and less advanced students senior year. And that's if you don't have any trig or pre calc.Not really, I'd say one level of algebra is good enough. The hardest part for me was remembering the standard deviation equation, and that can easily be dumbed down by just letting students see it and plug in without memorizing it.
