don't think that's a carpenter ant. that said, carpenter ants only eat dead wood, they don't eat live wood, so they aren't a direct threat to your home like termites are. however, lots of carpenter ants means dead wood is nearby, which might indicate you have something rotting somewhere. this has happened to me twice, once there was some rotting trim wood on my exterior and another time the drywall and wood behind my shower was rotting away

we've both agreed that we can't fix this issue quickly or easily, so why are you demanding a solution that will do something we both agreed was impossible? the solution here needs to be a slow, gradual one that takes multiple steps to implement. we can start by putting a halt on making access easier, like the new Florida law for open carry does.

Intellectually lazy is thinking that a simple law change is going to stop people from just carrying concealed. You did not at all address the fact that I said people estimate anywhere from 300-450 million guns to be in circulation in the US. How does your allow address that in any way? These guns are already out there.

none of us expect America's gun culture to change overnight with the passage of a law or two. this is a change we need to gradually implement over multiple generations. and doing things like relaxing gun restrictions and making it easier or more convenient to access them is the wrong direction.

both? following the law enabled these people to bring their guns to the beach, then someone broke the law when they started using the gun. if these people were not legally permitted to carry, this probably would not have happened.

thunderstorms barely phase my dog, but he flips the fuck out when fireworks are going off. he's been terrified from 8pm - midnight every night since Saturday. i even drug him with Trazadone and he's still a nervous wreck, trembling, panting and drooling from the anxiety.

most undocumented workers still receive normal paychecks (ie not paid "under the table"), and as such, pay normal taxes.
