the stipulations of the deal are that you can't spend the money on any investments. so that $100k up front PLUS any money earned through work cannot be saved or invested. not being able to invest or save my future earnings is really what turns me off from the deal.

i make like $130k / year, i'm single with no kids and my house is paid off. i only spend like $2-3k a month (my life is simple). i max out my 401k, which is $22k each year. so right there i'd be missing out on $110k of retirement savings over the five years. i also save 2-3k each month in addition to the 401k contribution, so by taking that i'd miss out on $40k of retirement savings every year for five years.

not being able to save or invest anything for 5 years would net me significantly less than $100k. maybe if i was in a situation where i had LOT of expenses coming up, like new car, new roof, new windows, new HVAC, I might take it. otherwise, no way.

sometimes they give attitude when you don't tip. i've had numerous young people roll their eyes at me, or give an exacerbated sigh for not tipping a cashier.

this is beyond ridiculous. first it was asking for tips for just being a cashier or an employee. now they want tips when we do the work. GTFO and demand better wages.

Both lanes can exit straight and therefore, not exiting in the right lane impedes the left lane

correct. the 'green' lane you enter from _must_ exit at the first opportunity. since you want to exit at the red, you need to enter on the inside lane.

I probably would have stayed in the right lane as well. Was it someone entering the roundabout that honked or someone already in it?

alright, so i'm probably really slow to figuring this out. but even saying things like "whose alt?" or "you were here four years ago", or pasting proof that TC is a liar, is all just feeding him. it should be painfully obvious to most people who pay attention to here what TC is all about, so pointing it out does nothing but feed the troll. i think i finally get it. the best thing we can do is just ignore TC.
