Ive read a lot of that lately. So many MAGAs are saying why even bother voting cause the Democrats will just cheat to win anyways. Its a self fulfilling prophecy.

If there's one thing I've learned from living with Republicans all these years, it's that they simply can't function without an excuse to bitch about the government: if a Democrat's in office they're of course bitching about the country going to hell (usually as the delayed result of his Republican predecessor's short-sighted policies), and if a Republican's in office they're bitching that the country's going to hell because no one's getting in line behind him and the media's being mean to him (and not, of course, because he's an ineffectual moron).

But under normal circumstances, they just enjoy the misery-loves-company style bitching and aren't actually motivated to action, because due to a hard fact that is wholly unfathomable to them, the government isn't actually oppressing them in any measurable way. Which is why I'm fairly confident that the current cult fervor will die with Trump.

Operation anchorage dlc... I swear, that dlc was created just as an official "i win" mod for console players without access to unofficial mods.

Infinite stealth? Check
Overpowered sniper rifle? Check

Otherwise, probably the least interesting DLC.

Now compare this to something like Skyrim, where the vast, vast majority of 'unique' weapons and apparel have enchantments that are so underpowered / uninspired that they're hardly worth the effort (even without factoring in self-enchanted gear).

Isn't the power armor also unbreakable? I think it's bug tho

I know there's a famous exploit that lets you walk away with an unbreakable Gauss Rifle and whatever other gear you had in your inventory when the simulation ends.

I just looked it up on the wiki, and apparently the Winterized T-51 PA you get normally is flagged as the 'sim' version instead of the proper 'wasteland' version, so it's technically unbreakable as well.

It was Heartomaton who planted a remote device on a crossbow in revenge for Vegy stealing his signature Meme Diamond. Look at the seating arrangement. It triangulates Hearto just perfectly with that thing, which is loaded with a dummy bolt. Aimed directly at Mr. Vegy. Now I believe close inspection will reveal some sort of remote triggering device, but more damning, that is a vintage Jayhawk brand crossbow. Jayhawk, Hearto Jay. Of course, there are other superfluous and rather clumsy clues. The hedgerow in the south garden spells letter H. Hearto's room is the sacral chakra, which is the one blocked by guilt. Blah, blah, blah. But the motive, yes, on the cleverly planted 1998 issue of The Face magazine with Hearto on the cover [chuckles] he famously wore what became known as the Meme Diamond. And thats a family heirloom, I believe. Mr. Vegy, the large pendulous locket which is Has not left your neck. [chuckles] Bit out of keeping with your breezy island style. Would you kindly open it for us? [Reveals Meme Diamond] A dramatic, passionate and colorful crime for a fashionista. Mister Hearto Jay. Unfortunately, this crime clashed with the presence of Benoit Pug.

I just remembered that I hardly ever used power armor in Fallout 3.
I think it's because I felt like I was Generic Video Game Hero #33105 whenever I was wearing power armor.
My playing style also leaned more on sniping from afar and letting my companions engage the enemy. Heavy armor was not necessary when I was not (the one) getting shot at.

Me neither, same with NV. Fallout 4 got plenty of things wrong, but its take on PA was right on the money imo - it finally felt like an eventful upgrade / lateral playstyle, as opposed to just 'weird looking tin can with slightly higher numbers.'

Yeah, Watchmen is a prime example, for all the reasons listed and countless others. And the guy who was most illiterate of its message got to make a movie out of it!

On a different subject, I've seen an opinion thrown around a few times that Aang struggled hard for everything in his life while Korra is a Mary Sue who gets everything handed to her. Like, I get it, you hate LoK, that's fine, but this opinion in particular is the nadir of media illiteracy: Aang being a naturally-gifted bending prodigy (much to the chagrin of the hard-working Katara) is a plot point in numerous episodes, and his greatest obstacle (learning earthbending) is overcome in a single episode; on the other hand, it famously takes Korra an entire season to learn airbending.

It's also weird to me how Ghostbusters 2016 turned out to be exactly what the wrong sort of people thought it would be in regards to how it views men: there isn't a single male character in the movie that isn't a jerk, a wimp, a creep, or an idiot.

Compare that to something like She-Hulk, which was at least well-written enough to have some more upstanding male characters like Pug and Matt Murdock to balance out the chauvinism.

Gloom Hands are great, but they'll never replace the fear of having 2 or more Guardians chasing/homing their lasers on you.

I gotta disagree here. My first encounter with Gloom Hands went thusly: "Oh, I'm just walking along the Hyrule plains, minding my own business, sure is a pleasant sunny day...wait, what's that weird glowing puddle heading my way...oh geez, it's like a nightmare Wallmaster or something, moving fast, better run away...oh god the sky's gone blood-red and the music just turned sinister AHHHH CLIMB CLIMB CLIMB GET AWAY GET AWAY OH HOLY GOD WHY IS IT RAINING ALL THE SUDDEN AAAAAAGGGGHHHHH *Ded* Intimidating as the Guardians could be at times, they never made an impression on me quite like that.

I avoided them like the plague whenever I saw them, but I got ambushed by one around a treasure chest in the Depths and was forced to finally beat it, even if my strategy was just 'mash and mash and mash until the screaming stops.' Phantom Ganon rising out of the ooze was certainly a surprise, but thankfully he's much more manageable imo.

I lost over 2 hours of gameplay yesterday because I went to a fort and it crashed my game and the auto save is corrupted. This totally bums me out. Just lost almost all motivation to play this game now.

Never ever trust the autosave in a Bethesda game (Oblivion's autosave is notoriously unreliable in particular). Always hard save, keep at least 3 saves at a time, and it doesn't hurt to delete old saves and make a fresh save every time instead of overwriting old ones. Quicksave's fine if the option's available, just make sure to hard save every half-hour, hour max.

Not looking down my nose at you with this advice either, it was born from countless motivation-killing hard lessons myself.
