Communism was just as bad as nazism towards smaller nations and therefore people who were under one regime think of the other one as not so bad, when in fact both need to be completely eradicated from the planet.

Nazism did way worse atrocities in the West and therefore communism is seen as something as not as bad. Red star, hammer and sickle, etc aren't seen in the same light as swastika on other nazi symbols, but they absolutely should be.

Always have in mind that Soviets were fully prepared to pretty much split the world with nazis and that Hitler's lunacy was the only thing which prevented them from doing so. If Hitler didn't strike, they absolutely wouldn't react to anything happening in the West.

Playing esports professionally? After some time it would definitely ruin my motivation to play games while not being paid.
Every popular game at highest level pretty much requires you to play 10 hours a day if you want to make a living, if not more. It's a ridiculous grind and definitely has an impact on not just your perception of gaming, but life in general. With obvious health risks.
You can say it's easy to sit behind a screen and play all day long, but those players are expected to be in peak mental shape at all times, which doesn't come naturally for most people, especially not gamers.

Meanwhile if you're streaming, you don't really need to be a god gamer 100% of the time and you can manage your schedule however you see fit.

I'm 6'3 and I'd say that anything above like 6'5 is uncomfortable and annoying unless you're rich.

And I'm from a region where somewhere between 6 and 6'1 is average height, so being taller is fine.
But whenever I travel, I just stick out, it's kind of weird because even though 6'3 is above average, it's fairly normal where I live and I don't consider 6'3 to be really tall.

Also, I genuinely feel bad for short men. Nothing you can do about it, just genetic lottery and you have to be so much better in every other aspect in order to make up for it.
It's extremely rare to see a man shorter than like 5'7 where I'm from, seeing tiny men whenever I travel makes me feel bad for them.

In my experience most games with a score of 7 are not that good.

Because the scale has been moved for some reason.

10/10 should be reserved for all-time classics. Games that are either perfect in every aspect or bring some never seen before innovations and gameplay mechanics. I'd say one or two games per year, if that.

7 to 9 should be for good to great games.
5 and 6 for passable games worth buying on sale etc.
4 and lower is bad.

Instead we adopted the mindset that everything below 9 is a complete failure.

I also haven't played in a while and when I loaded the game a couple of weeks ago, my build was fully reset. They'll reset it again with 2.0 and it seems a lot of stuff is reworked.

Which were fixed during the first week.

Because it was mostly console players on older generation consoles.
It was CDPR's mistake to push the game for old gen because hardware just isn't good enough.

After the week one patch, PC didn't have any issues other than unfinished stuff.
The game was well optimized and wasn't crashing at all.

Btw, for me it's hillarious how Cyberpunk (rightfully so) faced a massive outrage over lack of AI, especially police AI, but Starfield is praised by everyone even though it's AI is worse than what Cyberpunk had at release.

Not even in the first week of Cyberpunk you could pull out a weapon and start shooting in residental area without NPC reaction.

I guess CDPR isn't paying enough shills to bot for them online.

Counter-Strike is the greatest FPS franchise and it's not even close. Like there isn't even a discussion.

Others are up for debate.

Half-Life, Doom and Quake are my favorites.
Unreal Tournament, Stalker and Metro deserve a mention.
Goldeneye is a classic.
Bioshock maybe.
First few CoD games were amazing, but it's been a steady downwards trajectory for about 15 years now.
I guess Halo is the biggest Xbox FPS title.

US military budget being so high is a completely different matter and there's no reason for it to be $877 billion. But as long as it's that high, all the complaints about taxpayer dollars going towards a war on the other side of the world are baseless.

I agree with sending them old military equipment we don't use, or even some we do. As far as hard cash, fuck that, countries in Europe should pay. It's their continent and their ass on the line. Almost all those countries are rich too, let them take care of themselves and each other and stop relying on the US.

What about the treaty Ukraine signed with USA and Russia back in early 90s?
They disarmed themselves, gave up all of their nukes in exchange for non-aggression guarantees.

NBA2k actually resembles basketball and is a solid game if we look at just the engine and mechanics.
The problem is that idiotic fanboys always cry about stuff that gets made more realistic, so we end up with every subpar shooter rating wise being able to hit every shot in hands of a good player, which completely breaks the game and makes it unrealistic.

FIFA on the other hand absolutely doesn't represent the game of football.

I'm a huge NBA fan and 2K games are just a disgusting money grab. Haven't bought it since 2k20.

You either need to do a ridiculous amount of grinding to upgrade your created player to 95+ or you need to pay not to grind.

The other popular mode is about collecting cards, but it either requires a lot of luck or money spent to get most of the best cards.

All of this would be somewhat digestible, plenty of other games have similar moneygrab systems.

But none are damn annual, fully priced releases. Just as you get everything you need, it's all reset and goes to waste because the game dies when the new one gets released.

If there was any justice, both EA and 2K would have their sports licenses taken away.

It's a problem a lot of open world games with a ton of content have. Even all-time great ones like Skyrim or Witcher.

Witcher 3 is an all-time classic, but combat is by far the weakest aspect of the game.

For example, I've never been a GTA fan, so I didn't play RDR, either. Last year I finally gave RDR2 a shot. Amazing game in every aspect, really enjoyable...but the actual gameplay (gunplay) is straight from 2005. Just not something I could ever see myself playing for more than one playthrough.

CDPR (rightfully so) go destroyed at Cyberpunk release, but if you look at Starfield, their NPC AI is even worse. They don't even react to stuff like guns being pulled out or shot in cities, even shooting story-related NPCs doesn't do shit. It's 2023, ffs.

There's no reasoning with Bethesda fanboys, so might aswell let it go.

Starfield in it's current state is a solid game, I'd say between 6.5 and 7.5 depending on your preferences, but considering the budget at their disposal and the hype they created, it's nowhere close to those ridiculous 10/10 reviews.

Maybe it's just me, but what's so amazing about the game? For me, a 10/10 game either has to be perfect in every way if we talk all the stuff we've seen already or it has to be innovative. Starfield is neither.

I can't name one gameplay mechanic we haven't seen before.
