lmao I remember this. Asmongold literally interviewed one of the people live on stream with around 50k viewers at the time which created huge drama in the community resulting in multiple discords and forums closing themselves off or arguing amongst each other.

Depends. There are so many people who "find" religion for a purpose. Reformed criminals, people who have no aim in life ect.

It really does help a person when they're at their lowest, with no one around. It has a community of people for individuals with no families. It also takes part in charities, events, courses for people who want to get on their feet.

Then theres obviously the downsides. But people tend to just think black and white on this issue. The anti-religious folk would like nothing more than to eliminate it all. Then you have the ultra-religious side who think everyone should adhere to their book.

I like to think a good balance between the two is healthiest.

People who say "hurr durr religion is the cause of war" are either disingenuous or close minded. Wars have been waged solely for political reasons and pure human greed for ages. Religion is just another excuse.

By removing it you'd think humans won't find another way to fuck with each other?

As someone who adored the original and played through it...I think four times(?) the sequel was a bit of a letdown. The battle system mechanics were peak, and the characters gave a lot of options for combat, but alchemy and the Grow Book was rather badly downgraded. And the best part of the original, the Character Quests, well...they never allowed the characters to actually develop. Who the characters are at the start of the game is who they are at the end.

Now the battle music? Oh yeah, that was fire!

I remember playing Mana Khemia on the PSP. I got half-way through and somehow I didn't realize that we could use points to enhance our characters. So I had been playing for so long, utilizing items and strats to get through each fight.

I thought the game was supposed to be extremely hard so I adjusted and got through everything regardless. Its only until I opened the menu one time and was messing about that I discovered you could enhance them. Felt like such an idiot lol.

I don't really care if the company is being paid or not. The last thing I want is annoying ads being shoved in my face. We already have to deal with it everywhere else.
