im not as mad about it as Inviso, but I do find it a bit annoying that the octos are pure fighting

in a gen with Sirfetchd, you cant be a pure fighting type and expect to not slip through my mental cracks. youre just getting outshone too hard.

Tongue, eggs, flutter jump are probably the consistent elements among the platformers. Any with island in the name have the baby element too.

my one issue with Overqwil is the little spikes above its eyes

yoshis story is a thing I have nostalgia for but I dont know that its particularly good

I assumed its supposed to be an anaconda because of it being named that

but also I dont think its supposed to be a boa constrictor because its thing isnt constricting. I think its shaped like that to resemble a funnel cloud, since its thing is launching sand. Its a sandstorm snake.

I just dont like the color scheme on these guys. They are nice dogs, I want to like them, but they dont work for me.

I dunno, I just rank the Pokemon based on how much I like them, it doesn't feel that complicated. The only thing I find weird is liking Pokemon based on things like stats or typing - I've played competitive Pokemon since 1999 and this has never occurred to me. The Pokemon I would like, actually want to buy merch of, are almost totally divorced from being any good. I like, literally don't get it.

its not a big factor for me, but stats or typing could make a Pokmon stand out a bit more / have an interesting role in-game, which leads to me using it and developing affinity for it

Like I think I would like Ledian more if it wasnt so weak, because then I could actually use it on my team. But as it is, its sort of a bummer that this thing that I like the look of is total junk.

Greedent is better than Raticate, Linoone, Bibarel, Watchog, and maybe Gumshoos. But that's not really saying much.

my point is these fossils were an opportunity to mix and match types that dont naturally fit together, so making one of the combos a super boring, fairly common one was a waste

theres a bunch of cases like Carkol where I like what theyre going for, but the actual execution doesnt live up to the premise for me

I sort of like Carkol but its execution of the concept doesnt totally work for me

the head looks goofy against the backdrop of the coal, I dunno its too much coal maybe? And not enough surface area for the head to be attached to the cart part?

i dont know the standard Lego rates anymore, but boy does that Nook set not look like $75 worth of a thing

Spewpa a little underrated there (mostly I just love the name), but pretty solid results overall

Silcoon and Cascoon are just so devoid of character compared to the rest. Probably in the bottom 5 Pokmon of all time
