I feel like even the non-plot/mythology heavy episodes of the show generally get better after season 2 or so

like it takes about that long for BMO to get involved regularly, and BMO is the best

also the story structure/characterization just gets a little but less manic? Childish? I dont know how exactly to describe it. I still really enjoy the first couple seasons, but it gets better with time.

I know nothing of the Saga serie but this is weirdly appealing to me

i am constantly annoyed with encumberance but refuse to put any points into strength because I dont care about the stuff further down that tree

but I did just get the perk that gives followers +50 carry weight, so thatll help

also it took until like level 30 for me to see a sword in this game, but now I have seen it. One day you can become the ronin you were meant to be.

and you dont really need to buy another class A ship, its cheaper to just build more stuff onto the Frontier. I used Frontier, but long up until recently when I jacked a really nice looking B-class UC ship.

my style in basically any game like this is basically to be a good guy in plot-related choices, but also do loads of crime

so I went with scoundrel. Im a fan of pistols, so that worked out well

Also I am a UC native with a bounty on my head and living parents

the parents trait is pretty great. They give me some nice stuff sometimes.

first, good news: you can build a ship landing pad at your outpost. You can modify and swap out ships there, and seemingly buy any possible ship part you have unlocked (most places you only get a limited selection of what the specific shop sells)

now Bethesda news: my ship is clipping through it. Its like halfway inside the floor. I could basically move about it normally, but cant see things below the landing pad floor (or above if I duck)

then I tried exiting the ship and ended up in a gray void. The game auto saved, and the void even has a name! I entered the Outpost overlay template.

but no big deal, I was still able to reload a previous save and take off from the landing pad normally it was just a very weird experience

I think removed ship parts are just gone forever.

It magically teleports to your ship collection.

I can and I do. Theres three ship parts in the cargo hold.

I try sitting in the captains chair, and am presented with the option to take off

the ship is totally functional, so I steal it and leave three UC dudes stranded on a barren rock. I dont even get a bounty put on me for stealing it.

also the ship is physically like 3x the size of my normal one, but somehow has the worlds smallest cargo bay. All my stuff from my other ship gets moved into the new one, so its at like 2700/245 capacity. Im gonna need to do some work on it.

this game really has some classic Bethesda unitentional silliness going on:

walk up to a cave, see a guy standing on a rock pile

hes like fuck off, these rocks are mine. I willl kill you for these rocks

Im like ok, sorry dude. Just passing through

he calms down, and suggests maybe theres other rocks around for me to find. convo ends

immediately I walk directly up to his rock pile and loot it without any consequence. dude does not react, I leave him standing on an empty pile of rocks

Its not an issue. The voice in your head is really pushy about it, but its just bonus powers that you can get by without.

the stuff from the guy who said he had the script seems to hold up,

whoever it was that said Kronika and Geras fuse together as the final boss was just lying

someones got the full game, seems to have played through the entire story now

still not clear who the last character is

Wylls spell slots refill on short rest instead of long rest, and theyre all the highest possible level for your class level.

so he can cast fewer spells per battle, but over the course of the day he can cast 6 and theyre as strong as possible.

this also means that while with a wizard you might want to have some level 1 spells memorized to make use of their level 1 spell slots, Wyll can go all in on high level stuff.

although you may still want to keep lower level spells around, because most of them get boosted if you cast them with a higher level spell slot

if you beat that thing without using the smashy thing you get an achievement, so just murder him the old fashioned way

just make sure your characters are doing the right kind of damage and itll be fine maybe

Also, the Switch version is the one everyone seems to be getting early for whatever reason.

And that version runs like absolute shit. If you see any leaked videos it's real bad. Freezes up in the middle of fatalities.

I doubt anyone would get this on Switch, but it's looking above and beyond what should be reasonable to sell.

maybe the day 1 patch will make it look less like garbage in addition to adding in the rest of the game

The game probably needs the encumbrance system at least in regard to the ships. Its a big aspect of ship design/upgrading and theres some jobs you can get to haul crazy amounts of stuff. I saw a ship in the shop with like 2000 mass cargo space.

and since those limits can get so high, its not a major annoying inconvenience. Im like 10 - 12 hours in and just fixed up my ship to hold like 900, so its not so bad now.

i get the impression that the character encumbrance will also be less of an annoyance as I progress, but boy the initial limit really hurts the games first impression

The only place I've found on the ship to store anything is the captain's locker, which holds a whopping 40 mass. I know I have to be missing something.

theres a storage hold with 450 mass by default. You can access it directly from your inventory while on the ship, or theres like a blue pad thing to interact with in the cockpit.

Megan Fox isnt a good actress, but shes not really bad either.
I actually remember really liking her when she was on like half a season of New Girl. Maybe she only seems bad because shes almost exclusively in bad movies.

episode 2 especially is a direct sequel to the previous series, itd probably seem like total nonsense without context

oh also on the second planet I was almost immediately struggling with the encumbrance limit, and my robot friend would neg me every time I went over the limit and I hate him now

and im 97% sure one of the three aliens creatures on that planet is just using Radscorpion animations

did the little intro segment, then spent hours fucking around gathering resources on the next planet

then head to the main city planet. got off my ship, decided to immediately attack the ground crew, cops came and I killed like 5 of them, no more came after that

first building I saw after the landjng zone was the police station.

walked right in, dude at desk was like stop right there, youre wanted!

paid a 2600 credit fine for my septuple homicide and was free to go and also they offered me a job

then like fifteen minutes later in a shop menu the game hard locked up so I went to bed

I guess I wasn't shopping much, should probably fix that. My JRPG brain tells me to never buy equipment.

I'm in a unique situation with this game where there's just so much that my usually RPG pattern of following guides to get everything is just so pointless that I'm completely flying by ear, and it's refreshing. I think it was the first time I looked at Gale leveling up that I just said of what the fuck ever, let's just go, lol.

Also, I have like a billion single use spell scrolls......and they're worth a lot of gold, but I have never used one. Ultimate item paralysis here.

at some point youll probably come to understand some of those scrolls are pretty useless, and you can liquidate them

but some of the others (higher end damage spells mostly) can be really good. I was definitely hoarding a bunch right up until the end of the game, but also theres a lot of them available to purchase, so you dont need to be too careful

as for shops, most merchants in the game will have at least a few unique magical items that only they sell, so if something seems appealing you should pick it up when you can

GFAQs is supposed to be an enjoyable experience for its users.

you should at least have a green weapons for everybody by now, and probably some kind of +1 armor

and then some weird niche boots and gloves and jewelery that may or may not be useful to you

I'd lean against calling them indie games, but they DO fall under like all the major criteria (small teams, limited budget, small developers) except they might not have had as much freedom of creation

licensed games are only indie if the license feels indie

so a Nickelodeon game? Never indie.

the Scott Pilgrim game? Indie. (Even though Im pretty sure its a Ubisoft joint)

i went War Cleric for Shadowheart the first time through, and this time Im doing the healing one

both seem good and definitely better than Trickery

Astarions been Thief both times, because I like having him dual wield and the extra bonus action is nice

then after 4 levels I multi classed him into the crit version of Fighter. It worked out pretty well

im mostly switching up classes on this second playthrough, but I really liked that Astarion build last time so he may stay that way

Theres fewer than a thousand, so its totally doable for a guy whose job is to play video games online.

and theyre mostly not like super substantial games. You play half an hour of them and move on.

there seemingly was an exhaustion mechanic that got cut from the game, which would have been a debuff that increased in severity until you rested

theres one bird in the game with the status, but its otherwise totally gone
