Not this game, not last game. I apply pressure, you call me scum. And guess what, you're wrong both times. We told you last game that you need to be able to look past someone pressuring you, and it seemed like you took that message to heart, but if you're actually town (and you might be) then you did not come nearly as far as you needed to.

I'm trying to SOLVE shit and put pieces together. That you can call me anti-town just because I don't think you deserve to be granted powers is hilarious.

And I'm the one you call "emotional."

Also since I asked a few questions, I also found out that the teleporter would not flip with me if I had drove the kill onto myself and that I could be seen while using it. It was imperative that I claimed that I had received something right away in case we had a watcher on IGCD who saw me.

So I made sure I knew what I was doing before using it. IGCD was really my only choice since I figured he'd be eating one of scum's actions.

I picked IGCD because I figured scum would either kill or RB him. Simple as that. I didn't know at the time that IGCD's power was one-off, but neither did scum. So I wanted to take one of scum's main actions and put it upon myself... if it had gotten me killed, I'd have lol'd too, and laughed the entire time when the meltdown of "WHY DA FUCK DID THEY KILL BCT?"

With Death confirming that he's the gift-giver, that clears him as town. I'm likely to believe Chang is town. Isquen and Wall are uncountered protection claims and thus I have to believe that they're town.

FD is very very anti-town and needs to die today. The fact that he doesn't trust my judgment further shows that he's not in a town-friendly mindset. He might as well be confirmed scum at this point.

Also Crescent told me that I would busdrive the roleblock onto myself if my target was roleblocked. And that may have been what happened.

Who says we have an SK? I find the thought that scum and SK would both target Plum to be highly improbable, unless we had some sort of doc save (or FD's jailkeep if FD is town). I haven't seen anyone claim doc.

Seriously, we wait to see if there's a flip or two night kills again before we decide if there's an SK. The current plate of evidence makes me feel like this discussion is sidetracking us.

This is correct. I received the item at the start of the night and the roleblock message at the end of the night. It said "You were roleblocked" and not "action failed."

My target was IGCD. So if Isquen jailed FD, that has no bearing on my action.

Lea owning scum SBell is nothing new. It's happened like three times in a year now. Once she was a bomb and she claimed power to draw a kill, once she vigged him in that joke Han game, and now this.

I'm fine to Sametime with Isquen and will be available to do so in an hour. To clarify, I got the item at the very start of the night phase and my message did indeed say I was roleblocked. I will not elaborate further.

My vote on Wall stands since he's twisting my words in ways he knows aren't true. I figured it was scum since I'm town, but it could be harmful town doing it to itself as well, and I worded it the way I did to see if I could get a town claim to have messed up. But it looks like it was scum.

If you had a roleblock, Wall, now would be the time to admit you used it to help scum out.

Okay, so I found something interesting in my mailbox last night. Well leave it at that, seeing as what it was does not matter since it was roleblocked. Not sure why scum would roleblock someone who doesn't have a role tbh.

Im willing to bet that the reason we had a triple kill N1 was that SBell went and targeted Lea, TOWN PGO. I infer this from Dumeys flip. Why else would a scum assassin be bulletproof while performing a kill?

Upon reread, I tried to read Wall from a town perspective and I wasnt buying it. Nothing he said made any sense to me from a town perspective. I am fine with either him or Isquen being our lynch for today, since both are quite obvious scum.

Oh, and as for why I unvoted yesterday? Id thought Id put a vote down for FD in my first post. Which I did, but deleted before hitting post. My error! (I also will be way more active starting tomorrow real-time. But for now, I must take my leave for the night.)

It's called a theory. A theory about why he gave us nothing. Theories is how town operates. SBell has been scum almost every game in the past year. It's crazy.

If you aren't operating using theories, your game style makes no sense. I don't like the way you've been approaching this at all. It's distracting to me and to the rest of town. You are the one with tunnel vision here and you're going after an innocent townie.

Watched Looper last night (review is up for those who wanna see). I can definitely see SBell dying while using his power, given what transpired in that movie. Fucking awesome way to spend two hours.

Sultan was low effort because of champs. I agree that that's likely. Fd and wallz were both very present and had a big d1 presence. So as scum, why did Dumey prefer a Sultan lynch?
I propose:

Wallz is scum, and dumey did not want to bus his mate that hard on day 1 if there was a perfectly good train going on an unclaimed town.
He knew i was adamantly against fd in a way that i was not against Sultan and there weren't many other people around, besides the people on the chopping block. So if he went after fd, i would likely stay on wallz. In that scenario, it's likely that fd votes wallz and wallz votes fd, bringing us to a d1 tiebreaker with scum on the line. Not a fun time for them.
Therefore, voting Sultan was the only avenue for Dumey to secure wallz' safety.

Yeah, Dumey wanted to lynch town, so either FD or Wall is scum. Could be either of them who is. Dumey bussing FD to frame Wall is entirely possible as well.

Also, Wall: I don't know why people think I'm scum because SBell didn't give a shit? My name is not Stu. My name is Andy. I am not the same person as him. If I'm scum, wouldn't I care more, seeing as I haven't been scum in a long time? Meanwhile, SBell has been scum as often as I've been town, so I can gather his disinterest.

We only have one day to judge him from. I say pay it no mind. The goal here is to lynch scum, not mislynch town. I don't take past games into consideration and since I'm vanilla town again, it doesn't matter what I do. Lynching me only helps scum get away for another night.

I'm inactive, I know, and am not feeling like myself anymore. Seasonal change is hitting me hard. And that's why I don't give a fuck.

Also, we go for confirmed scum. Always.

As someone who often browses AITA to kill time at work, this made me lol

I mean, it WOULD be something posted there, and Serah WOULD be the AH, yes? I've written satirical AITAs many a time and actually considered making one about FFXIII here, sans the l'Cie thing.

I always liked the Hope/Lightning dynamic. She mostly seemed like an impatient hardass early on, but she's also a big sister who can protect and guide. Hope initially seems useless and whiny, but he can be a lot more capable than he seems. Once their emotions have settled a bit, they do a good job in bringing those aspects of each other out.

I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying Hope at this point. Note how I'm not calling him "Hopeless" anymore - because the annoying aspect of him getting himself into things and immediately making excuses has dissipated. Light's U-turn into that big sister archetype is much welcome, and the dynamic between the two of them evolved quickly to really push each other to be the best they can be. It's good that they're paired up.

Anyway I cleared Chapter 6 last night. There's really not much of anything here - the only thing of relevance is Sazh's backstory. Yes, it's good that we got this, but it felt like it was shoehorned into a fluff chapter that offered virtually nothing for Vanille. She did suggest that they head the other direction to ditch the PSICOM goons, since trying to help Hope and Light out will only result in all of them being in trouble. PSICOM won't expect a thing. But really, this was all Sazh here, and while it's great, I wish there had been more forward story to go along with his backstory.

So on Day 5, Sazh's little boy, Dajh, wandered off wanting to check out a Fallacy, which ended up being a Sanctum one. The kid, who's like 3 y/o, got branded. This is unheard of - Sanctum Fallacies never really brand people because they want to stay out of politics or something rather. A PSICOM officer, Colonel Jihi Nabaat, comes to requisition the boy, only allowing Sazh to see him on Day 12 during the fireworks. Sazh has no clue what his son's Focus is, nor does Sanctum, just that he's become Force-sensitive, so he can detect beings from Pulse - this would include his father now, making them enemies. Since Dajh's mother is dead - which is why Sazh wasn't like his old self (I had to read this in the Datalog, and you'd think that would be important enough to show in a scene, such as Sazh talking to Colonel Nabaat about that) - Sazh takes responsibility to help the boy complete his Focus, whatever is may be, and that's why he sent himself to Purgeville.

What he doesn't know is that Vanille was there that day, right when Dajh got branded. I was pretty mystified as to what she was doing at that Fallacy, but she doesn't have it in her to tell Sazh. That and we need to keep the mystery going. There's some dialogue here that makes me think Vanille might be from Pulse, what with her asking what Sazh thinks of the propaganda. He's old enough to know to question shit that has no evidence, after all. Sazh thinks for Sazh, and thus is smart. Vanille, as evidenced here and earlier by talking to the chocobo (who's yet unnamed since Sazh was buying it for Dajh when he wandered off), is mature far beyond her years. It makes me wonder if she was already a l'Cie when this whole thing started.

Really, that's all the meat this chapter had. There was a lame gimmick of having to keep switching rain off and on to control what enemies spawned since you can't feasibly take on some of these tough things at this point, something that would've worked better had it been like a puzzle. This is just a dumb gimmick instead of it taking a simple layout and making it so you needed to trigger "on" orbs and "off" orbs in the right order to avoid the wrong battles. Or force your way through if you're overpowered. One of these things destroyed me quickly, even with buffs and debuffs.

The boss fight here, two things which look like the product if some sort of bearded monkey fucked a Blastoise, is also tough, and I need to switch Vanille's accessory from a Magician's Mark to a W-Bangle, which is enough to overcome their attacks and win me the fight on my third try (the second I tried attacking the other one first, but that made no difference). It's pretty boring still aside from Vanille's fearful "Come and get it!" (perfectly acted) and the rather interesting music, but that's about it.

The honest question I have is why people are so against others for being a Pulse l'Cie. Like... they got branded, not by choice. What's the reason for this xenophobia? Did a Pulse l'Cie EVER commit any kind of terrorism during their lifetime? It's quite obvious that they're condemning xenophobia and other forms of bigotry here - don't judge a book by its cover, and don't condemn someone for things that they can't control. More people need to understand this.

Next time, Sazh and Vanille head to Nautilus, City of Dreams; Light and Hope head to Palumpolum, Hope's hometown; and Fang and Snow finally get to do shit together. About time we get some forward story with them instead of the stagnant loop they've been in for several chapters.

Yeah, let's get FD.

Haven't had a good chance to catch up. Part of it was the gloomy weather and feeling under it. Part of it is that I'm not a high caliber player.
