Maybe an unpopular opinion but I feel like subjectively BotW is better. At a certain point in Tears I just wanted to go I get it. You can build stuff, and walk away.

BotW is a perfect example of "less is more". Less content than TotK but it's a much more focused and rewarding experience.

TotK, to borrow a criticism applied to another video game, is as wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle

A minimalist plot is, at worst, easy to ignore. TotK has a bigger story but it's just... bad.

Either stay minimal or go all in on a hefty, expansive narrative. None of this in between crap.

One of the few Zelda games where I disliked it the more I played it. Have a hard time summoning the urge to return to it.

Through that you meet more people and more than likely opportunities for dating will pop up

You actually highlighted the problem I'm talking about. Entering in with the mindset of "oh boy if I join this stupid club I'm gonna meet girls" is setting yourself up for failure

No. Dating apps are the best and most ideal way to
A. Get laid
B. Have a casual relationship
C. Have a potential long term relationship

Dating apps dont require you to have 6000 hobbies and the off chance of a person you find attractive that is also into you.

It's telling that your takeaway is that you're only motive behind joining clubs, finding hobbies, or meeting friends of friends is all with the ulterior motive of getting a partner and not because those are just good things that make you a well-rounded person.

Take care of yourself and present yourself well and if you put yourself out there you'll find people.

I'm not knocking dating apps but relying solely on them is a recipe for disaster

Dating apps aren't meant to be the entirety of your dating life. They're supposed to supplement it.

Yes, I will say I was really taken in by the designs of Thrawn's busted soldiers and the Chimaera.

I can't imagine what he must have gone through to keep them in line collectively. Like sure there's the military training and his own charisma, but ten years in one location for such a sizeable group is a LONG TIME.

My thinking is one of two things

They're basically an army held together by Nightsister dark magic. Most are undead flesh puppets like Marok.

Or they're real and Thrawn kept them alive and fed for a decade without any sort of backup or supply line. That's bound to inspire some sort of fanatic loyalty.

He's doing this to clear out the upper echelons of the military in anticipation of a Trump victory in 24.

So they can stack the vommand structure of the military with loyalists

Captain Enoch (the gold-faced Stormtrooper) is rad as hell, and it's lovely to see Bearded Ezra again. Thrawn is amazing, even putting aside the cartoon versions, this is how I always pictured him going back to when I first read Heir to the Empire.

The real interesting bits we've gotten this ep were the bits of worldbuilding. The Witch Kingdom of the Dathomiri, the fact that Baylon is not interested at all in Thrawn and is pursuing his own agenda looking for something that calls to him.

Interested in seeing how it all ties up in the next few eps (or where it leaves off, rather)

They did that diplomat a favor as far as I'm concerned.

A PC put together in the last several years running Windows 10.

Without some nifty modding and tinkering neither game really runs well out of the box.

Honestly I'd love this if they're put out for the right price.

F3 and Oblivion moreso than other Bethesda games are a real bitch to play on modern hardware.
