If no one notices, then feel free to do whatever you want. Just remember to look busy, so you don't get fired (or sacked if you're from Britannia) when they realize that your position is less than important.

Eh, I mean if something were to happen (medical oxygen shuts down, boilers lose steam pressure, loss of power, etc) then my job gets really fucking busy really fast. I am just usually pretty good at making this job look easy because i do preventive maintenance on all the equipment so USUALLY everything runs smoothly while I'm on shift.

We had a wannabe hotshot new young teacher in high school. He suspended me and 2 of my friends for something we didn't do.
