Actually, the LTC pump coincided with the announcement that a service called LitePay is launching February 26th. I dont think it has anything to do with the scam you mentioned.

I hope so. I heard about Litepay and assumed the news was priced in though.

Though two years were spent drawing rectangles in 2D CAD software. Now I moved up to rectangular prisms with 3D CAD software. I'm not even exaggerating.

I don't know, it's annoying, but you know the app doesn't have to be on the device, right? Like you can remove the app and the funds are still on your ledger, so you can cycle through apps as needed to store your coins.

I have a hard time stomaching premines. Ill wait until I see MANTA or STONE on the market, but their dev team looking kind of sketch too.

Such a shame because it had so much potential. IOTA pretty cheap, probably better off going that route.

Iota has a much higher market cap still though, $5B vs $1.2B, so Nano is still the better value. FWIW I own both.

And the details are still being uncovered, but the strongest theory is that Bitgrail's admin/creator is a God awful programmer and the site was filled with bugs, people were able to exploit the code to get free XRB and other cryptos, they were able to double withdraw the normal amount of what they had repeatedly. So users most likely exploited the bug in the code, withdrew their funds to other exchanges and dumped them, and the Bitgrail admin kept his incompetence under wraps as long as he could.

Or that could be a cover up, and Bitgrail was an exit scam, and the admin does have 13% of the supply.

Regardless, the Nano devs aren't forking to save the coins, and they're trying to distance themselves as much as possible. Like I said, the tech is good and I want skin in the game, so I think it's worth it. Losing $2,200 fucking sucks though.

Well, bought 27 XRB on Binance. Going to move it to a wallet ASAP.

The fact that the devs promoted Bitgrail and knew about these problems shows me they are unfit to build the currency, also it hurts the reputation of the coin knowing ~15% of the currency is compromised.

I might buy back in now that the news is definitely hurting it. If XRB goes to $1000 I will never get over the fact that I lost 249 XRB straight up.

620 ALQO stolen, 249 XRB stolen, I'm done with small exchanges. In fact I think I'm done with any coin that doesn't have a reliable wallet. I didn't trust the wallets for these coins, so I left them on the only exchanges that I could buy them from, then my money gets stolen before they are listed on well known exchanges. I'm done with this shit.

I'm just glad I only lost $450 in USD initial investments total. It hurts way less when I think of it like that.

I can only imagine how that could feel. I lost about $350 (started at just $20) and I'm pretty bummed about this. It sucks because I went through the verification process to get my money off there just a few days ago.
