*Roy's hat beats Tim's. (Still good though.)

*I would suggest Patriotic Recall since it is a tank materia without any real rivals.

* Normally you only need two pods at most unless you have an army of chainers worth the effort.

* Magistral Crest, well with ninja doggie(same as Desch, but mag.) looming closer...

* A ribbon/discernment or similar is good to have in case that unit needs it.

* Fixed dice. Unless you are fielding 2 TDH chainers and a finisher you only need one.

* Dark Bond is great for mages.

* Excalbur II is coming, so you don't need more.

*Ashe's Ring is a toss up depending on your needs.

* Galuca's is good if you plan on a dark chainer team.

* Celestial Gloves really only serve a purpose now for GL Sakura and 7* Luneth in general.

CG Sakura 7* require set ups for burst damage for her new improvements, while enhanced Emperor 7* is fire and forget within 5 turns.

2x 2750% with built in imperil(Ours is stronger by comparison) vs 1650% 2x. (CG Sakura can hit max dmg at turn 3 with the last turn hitting 5 times using her lv 110 CD, or adding imperil on turn 2.),

Edit: Looking at the topic at hand...

CG units are always relased alone, while CG Sakura is the sole rainbow on hers. (And apparently Lid and Nichol too going back, but only a gold and rainbow on CG Lid looks odd...)

Like before, CG Sakura brings some utility, and is a much quicker choice than Emperor currently when she drops her anvils.

Edit: Only time you will see more than one is on the guaranteed CGs in rainbows in an event before 7*.

As long as you can pace it with Devour. I flubbed that with GL Sakura while Rosa, yes FF4, was my healer/mana battery since I was too eager.

The way I see it:

* 4* ticket is the long term goal.

* Short term are the Golden egg and mid pots.

* The small pots and tmr specified ones are lowest priority.

* Snow Gown is a toss up.

Not really as it stands now. No one with a Fry likes a short chain as is since TDH is an impossibility for her now as is to be preferable.

Depending on how Gumi plans it they might boost DH for her either now(Hopefully not) , or at 7*. She is in a unique position.

I mean, I know they aren't as great without their weapon, but they still seem pretty usable with something like the Lohengrin, at least in the short term. I don't think there are any comparable hybrid weapons for Fryevia to use outside of TMRs.

I'm way too early to be worrying about full potentials, I think. I'm sure I'll go after L&As eventually, but I've only pulled one Ingus, so that's a little impossible right now. Does that mean Fryevia has less short term value than the other two?

There are very few worthwhile hybrid weapons until Intangir Plus happens, so Fry is one of those units that have a hard time getting by well on a budget with how hybrids work, although equip rod can be used.

The others can at least imbue their weapon and scrounge up equipment on the go at worst.

So... I went all in barring lapis on this banner cause the units looked cool.
4* plus 18 tickets gave me no rainbows, but...

Then I nabbed the last 4* ticket from the FF7 event. Pulled, and got the most adorable thing in the game, Christine.

Now I have both 5* ice waifus-worth the ticket loss imo.
(And a good chainer for Shertan, iirc)

It really depends.

Tinkerer Carrie offers a unique way for Lunera and CG Fina to trigger their respective bow bonuses, while Christine on one hand offers GL Sakura a noice TMR(Ninja doggie offers a similar later.) other mages can benefit from.

She can also work with Trance Terra, and her counter does interest Fry. Can hit pretty hard, and can lend her chainer ability.

Kryla on the other hand.

TMR is a Mystea engagement ring.

Best way to think of her as Tim or 9S with dual ability cast on demand. (Minus holy and dark)

Her Hex could have been interesting, but it is weak from a first glance. (A maximum of 160k damage. Twice that with Wicked Eyed from her LB.)

NoTice that barring wilhelm ( which, with WoL enhancements is not a loss now), the only thing that I'm missing is a pure physical chainer... and that is the only role that hurts the most to miss, sadly, cause not many units can take the place of an OK or a landu... Freyvja and VoL are nice and all, but the former has been nerfed cause ice resists and the latter is really hard to get good gear for.

Had a gut feeling.

Since you have both Marie and Ace, iNichol's LB can be made a low priority unless you plan to use him a lot.

If we look at it this way:

Mystea: Good since it works for 3 turns, but requires you to generate enough outside stones since she will be busy most of the time erecting her wall, defending, or do other stuff. (Or Entrust her.)

VoL: Strong one with a 74% DEF/SPR aoe debuff even at 7*. Future proof. Still need to generate enough outside. The real question here is if you are commited to building her equipment set up.

iNichol: Overall useful regen, BUT at the same time since you have Ace it can take a low priority since the 2x party mirage is static.

Ace: For the most part you won't use this one now since he more useful for support despite he does have a hefty hightide. But at the same time once he hits 7* and use his TMR it gains a 74% SPR debuff on the target. (And a 1800% mod for damage.)

(And you might want to update your rainbow list so it gets easier for suggestions. =^_^=)

Polyester is more flame retardant by comparison.

You only have to worry about both dps and healer survives, so resetting is recommended until it gets a perma patch for trials. (Anyone who dies will die.)
