People seem to think that coming up with a riff or a basic idea is enough and then expect everyone else to finish it for them uncredited. The worst part is they don't even realize they have an ego about it because they don't have enough of an understanding of the other instruments or music in general to realize that it takes more than a rough idea to make a song what it is. --- Do unto others what your parents did to you. |

So if you're pretty sure she's the one you want to be with then you can assume you'll reach that point in time. If it's more a matter of giving up your privacy and freedom then yeah, that's pretty normal. Maybe she even feels the same way?
