LEGO Incredibles? Yes. They all have voice acting now. Most of the actors are soundalikes, though, although they do have the new Dash, Jason Lee as Syndrome, and Brad Bird as Edna Mode. Everyone else is a soundalike.

True on Batman, but the games didn't follow the plot of any movie.

As for Marvel, the MSH games had no deaths, but Ultron was blown up at the end of LEGO Avengers.

Instead of getting riddled with bullets, Quicksilver gets riddled with ice cream, and Phil Coulson is shown to be quite alive after being "stabbed" by Loki, and Fury even hands him a "ticket to Tahiti".

I thought it was quite good. Better than TFA in my opinion.

The only things I didn't like was that it felt a little too long (it felt like the scene in the throne room should have been the climax), and that the Holdo Maneuver kinda wrecks what little we know of Star Wars science.

Still, one of Mark Hamill's finest performances. :)

Star Wars films have always had a problem making nonhumans out to be actual characters. Even since the original trilogy. Ask who the most well-developed nonhuman is in Star Wars films and the answer is Jar Jar Binks. From nobody to solider to representative to harbinger of the fall of the Republic.

True, but that doesn't mean that there aren't societal elements where being a man is disadvantageous. Criminal punishment is one. Divorce is another. Compassion when it comes to abuse. Basically anything where the societal expectation is "you're a man, toughen up".

But yes, anyone who says "women have it so easy" is making excuses for their own poor efforts.

I was in Boston yesterday and at the Common there was a large group and demonstrators for Families Belong Together.

Once I was headed back to the subway station I noticed a smaller group further out and heard "No More Nazis" chanting. They were facing inward at... something. Dunno if it was just someone else speaking and I couldn't hear them or if it was a counter-protest and all those people surrounding them were counter-counter-protesting.

Regardless, I was too hot and tired to investigate.

Syndrome doesn't die. Once you defeat his giant Omnidroid, you go back to the Parr House and find that Jack-Jack has already beat him up. He basically says "Forget it. I'm going into hiding." Of course, this is to set up you beating him in a city hub "Crime Wave" later in the game (or earlier if you take care of all the hub stuff early), but still it's awkward to have him just walk off camera and that's it.

Gazerbeam doesn't die. Remember Gazerbeam? Bob found his corpse in a cave having carved out the word "Kronos" in the wall opposite? At the same point in the story of the game, Bob lands in the cave, finds a weird effigy, and Gazerbeam just... pops out from behind it. Hale and hearty and talkative, except for a bit of amnesia and weird behavior. He's there so Bob has a 2P going through the next mission, but still it's so weird because the elimination of Supers was so pivotal to Syndrome's plot. Oh, and once you complete that mission, Gazerbeam disappears. Syndrome captures Bob (as happened in the story), but Gazerbeam never reappears after his mission, nor is it ever alluded to what became of him.

Now granted these are LEGO games and I don't expect brutal death or massive attention to continuity, but characters have died in LEGO games in the past. LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Lord of the Rings. I wonder why this game in particular (Disney?) is specifically against character death that happened in the original work.

Maybe it's the fact that LEGO Incredibles was done by Traveller's Tales B-Squad. We've got the A-Squad working on DC Super Villains coming out this October and all.

And how, given we're dealing with a race of asexual robots, that it is sometimes the case where it can happen between two Transformers of similar gender expression. Like Chromedome and Rewind.

And also that there are non-binary Transformers.

And also that there are Transformers that change gender expression when it suits them.

It seems to me that karaoke is pretty limited in the games mostly because of the effort that goes into making each song. First, the song has to be made (by someone who is already making bgm for the rest of the game), then they have to craft the imagination-land video of it, which is highly choreographed.

They'd probably have more karaoke songs per game if they gave less "game". :-P

EDIT: Oh and Yakuza 0 has six karaoke songs, not five:
