It's just getting a lot of traction because of how big Amazon is and their public perception of being a very friendly company. UPS for example has similar conditions even though they're Union. FedEx is even worse. So, you your options become very limited if you're only going to use products that are never shipped anywhere. This is just the world we live in. The problem is, I got paid dramatically more than Amazon pays. They'd be able to choose from a better crop of employees that don't have issues in this type of environment if they compensated them more appropriately. There's a point where instead of blocking off a hallway, they make it so if you attempt to use a certain path the alien pops out of nowhere to instant kill you.
