One reservation I have about magnetic is that I don't like the idea of a super silence heavy meta. It's such an unfun experience.

Generally, most places have a soda fountain and yes it's free refills. Although I know of a few very small places which sell cans instead, and those aren't "buy one, take as many as you want"

Apple. It's completely subjective based on my personal experience working in iOS support, though. Just left an awful taste in my mouth which no doubt would also happen if I'd supported a different platform.

I just had a pretty satisfying win against odd paladin. I'd used both explosive traps and freezing traps, and the clear from DK Rexxar's battlecry. He built up another board and I was able to stall exactly long enough to play Deathwing on turn 10, right after he played Stormwind Champion. That killed my Kathrena, which summoned Swamp King Dred from its deathrattle. So I have 21 on board which is exactly lethal. My opponent makes two dudes and plays the taunt maul, and I topdeck grievious bite ftw.

I ranked up from 24 all the way to 18 before encountering a single Baku or Genn. That seems a little surprising.

I finally dwindled down all my gold that I built up from all the recent event quests. So i played some games on ladder. It'd been so long since I played that I was back down to rank 24.

I picked up the old Hemet deck I was playing before. I went about 8-3 or something. All I wanna say is Cave Hydra + Dire Frenzy = Destroyer of Worlds

The other 7 are all between 38 and 43. Shows my style....when I do happen to get into ranked it's either hunter or mage, and arena, which I prefer, is essentially random because I don't favor any class over another.

I'd say "Oh, cool" and then carry on with day to day activities without giving a fuck

Finally hit level 60 with Warlock, Priest and Mage have been there for a while. Been playing over four years, I'm setting an astonishingly slow pace.

Even with how little I play it's surprising it took this long, when Reno was standard I pretty much played nothing but Paladin and those three classes, and Paladin is at 59. Everything else is in the 40s I believe.

I got golden mage and golden hunter like 2+ years ago. No other class is even remotely close.

I think inevitably after a while they'll implement a new bonus at like 3,000 wins or something. What do you guys think?

Priest can be so infuriating to lose against sometimes. I was the priest in this situation, but it reminded me of a game that would make me hate priests.

I had control early on but kinda ran out of runway with my opponent floating around 13 health. Couldn't quite afford to over-extend and push for lethal, and knew in time I'd probably die.

Then I play mind vision and get fireball. "Ah HAAAaaa!" Then next turn the guy plays the 6 mana 4/10 who summons a random 2 drop for the opponent...and it gave me the 2/1 with deathrattle get a random mage card, which pulled pyroblast. I skillfully cast the fireball and the pyroblast at my opponent's face for lethal.

If you gave me the card descriptions and told me to write the code, it would definitely be that if the exact same minion/card died multiple times, it would be that much more likely each time.

But it's hearthstone so /shrug

I get on a deck building kick once in a while, but I will always enjoy arena more, for shit like that.

I don't craft something I'm not about to use immediately, although I'm very impulsive with that. Might craft something on a whim and stop playing the deck two days later.

That draw your deck card is going to close out a lot of arena games.

Like, compare it to assassinate. In arena, the limitation of 4 damage isn't nearly as big of a detriment relative to ranked. It's usually a big win for the person playing it.

To be clear, when I said I don't think it's too good, that should have read, "I don't think it's too good."

I guess it might just be a card that gains value in the context of arena.

For whatever reason, Holy Water really gets me tilted. I feel like it's not even a card that's too good, but every time I see it in arena I feel cheated somehow. Can't really put my finger on it, but I hate it.

Do you all have any cards like this?

Play Rogue Legacy anyway, imo. Strictly for my enjoyment.

I was just copying the reddit user's wording, but underrated/overrated probably wasn't the best way to phrase it. It's more just a way to identify quality runs which were overlooked. Not necessarily quality runs which got worse reviews than they deserved, which I think is closer to what "underrated" actually means.

Well it's not a measurement for overrated, per se. Like cuphead has a ton of the overall views, relatively speaking. That's probably more to do with it being at the bottom than the Upvote/Downvote ratio.

Someone on reddit analyzed the youtube statistics of all the SGDQ videos to measure which runs were the most and least underrated.

It took the ratio of upvotes to downvotes for each video and divided that by the % of total SGDQ video views which have gone to that particular run. So if something has 99 upvotes to every 1 downvote, but it's only received 0.05% of all SGDQ 2018 views, it would be close to the top.

They're ordered with most underrated at the top: Bionic Commando.

I have no clue, but that alone doesn't sound like a contender for "50th out of 50 for states to live in". And California is, like, really big.

Top tier line of 3 for sure. And for the record I'm just ignoring all mega evolutions when I say that. Haven't played the newest games so I don't know those until I see them in these polls.

It is definitely great that I can express my opinion without threatening or challenging the opinions of others!

Like the appeal of squirtle is he's adorable and fun and "awwwwwwww!! My first pokeymanz!"

Then wartortle is like "let's try to make squirtle 'cooler'". But what I liked about squirtle isn't that he was "cool". And so then the "cool" factor gets absolutely destroyed by the "cool" difference of blastoise. Wartortle is like this awkward middle ground that is neither the most lovable nor the coolest. So he falls flat overall (despite still being great!)

That's pretty much the opposite of what I said but...sure! To each their own.

Ya know how you're like "blastoise is p. cool" and then mega blastoise is like "they're trying too hard to be 'cool' but it backfired"?

That's like squirtle and wartortle. Like, take the ears and tail off and it's basically the same as squirtle. Then the jump to Blastoise is like "whoa". Wartortle is like an unnecessary step. Honestly the coolest part about Wartortle is the name.

Apparently it's "get shit on by priests" day and nobody told me.

Three games in a row I've been owned in the most annoying ways. Once to a guy who played a shadow ascendant and I could never...quite...kill it. And he ended up getting like 8 turns out of it to where I couldn't keep up. (There were buffs involved.) Then I face a guy and basically the same thing happens with a lightspawn. Could always just get it down to 1 or 2. But he had like 4 minions that buff or restore health as a battlecry and a couple spells, and he ended up getting like a 6 for 1 trade for that minion. Then just now, a guy thoughtsteals molten blade from my deck and gets woe cleaver, which pulled a cretin (the 5/9 taunt) and next turn obsidian statue.

Squirtle is cute. Wartortle is cool. But it's definitely Blastoise.

I just want to offer as a different example that the people I know who did this went into it with the same kind of reasoning, like "idk, just seemed cool" and after 1.5 years they were very ready to come back. I'm sure what's been said here about the expat community is all true but it doesn't always have to be a big looming threat to your career/growth.

Though now that I think about it, the fact they went as a couple who lived together may have made it easier to not get sucked in.

...I got a friend request once after a completely ridiculous game I won in stunning fashion. Been too long but I might still have the chat log screenshotted on my computer. It was way back when...I was running a Reno Hunter...all I remember clearly is I summoned two Thaddiuses by killing Stalagg and Feugen at the same time, then my opponent played Deathwing, then I played deadly shot + Reno as my final 2 cards. We chatted casually for a while, then he faded into obscurity, and then I eventually removed him.

There was one time I was playing in the wee hours of the morning after a night at the bars, and after losing to a nonstop BMer at like rank 20 I friend requested them just to mock them for trying to BM at literally rank 20...and then I removed them before they could reply...>____>

OH YEAH and there was one time someone immediately friend requested me after losing to me, and started (presumably) cursing at me completely in spanish. I had no clue what they were saying aside from the occasional card name. I used google and gathered that they were super convinced I only won due to them making one single mistake but really it was a scenario where if they hadn't made the mistake, I just had a slightly different play in my hand which they never saw but would have ruined them just as well.

I never look forward to those interactions but I don't shy away from them either.

Froslass is the only one that I've heard of, can someone save me the trouble of figuring out why and just explain it to me
