I get tons of WOWs when I play my first card as Murloc Mage or Even Warrior/Rogue or other super fringe decks.

Sure, that's another use of it, yeah. But it's still not even close to the level of /sorry.

Like in that case it means "lol your deck isn't in the meta scrub" but do they /wow every turn?

And...if they do...it amplifies the sweetness of your victories :)

I think WOW is just about the same level as Sorry BM, honestly.

No way dude.

Well, at least, not from my experience.

People would just do /sorry after every time they played a card in any circumstance in which they were winning. But /wow is more like "goodness I can't believe how un/lucky you/I was just then!"

Sure some people do /wow to say "you suck" but to put it on the same level as /sorry? No way.

I'm trying to think.

Nothing stands out.

I feel like every time I'm nearing the end of an RPG, it's this same scenario where I stayed up til 2am and realized "I'm so close!" and just vowed to finish it that night, but the end of RPGs tend to stretch out longer than I anticipate, so then I'm still awake at like 5am wrapping things up and thinking "why the fuck did I play this all night I'm so tired fuck me fuck my life" so none of the endings seem all that great.

Maybe that's just me

Ah.

I like to just watch the hate flow through them and I don't BM via emote unless they seriously were asking for it.

Plus the occasional /wow is perfectly fine when something ridiculous happens. Or /oops takes off a little bit of the sting when you seriously screw up.

But to each their own of course. I don't play at a highly competitive level so I'm just a filthy casual tryhard.

Yes the best thing is when they emote "Thank you" every single turn, and you never emote back at all, until the final, triumphant "go fuck yourself" emote of "thank you" back at them just before killing them.

Here lately I've been oddly consistent at making it to either 4-0, 5-0, or 6-0 in arena without ever exceeding 7 wins. Something like 8 or 9 of my last 10 arenas fit that description.

Wow, so, I just saw a reddit post about this.

https://fifteenfortyfive.org

https://reddit.app.link/rDNcQmJEiO

Next weekend (July 13-15) there is an 8-team, approximately 50-hour relay race. Each team has 8-10 runners. It's a relay race of the 100% categories for:

-SM64, SMS, Galaxy, Galaxy 2

-Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, DK64

-Spyro 1, Spyro 2, Spyro 3

-Crash Bandicoot 1, Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot 3

I guess they did it last year, too, but I never heard about it. I probably won't watch much of it...but that's still a pretty cool thing.

I definitely see where Bob-omb Battlefield love comes from. I'd have to replay the game to give a good answer but that's definitely on my short list. I think it's because it's one of the most fun levels to just goof off in. Lots of open space, several cannons, wing cap, etc.

That's why I'm not too big on Tick Tock Clock. For me it's not fun because at every point I feel very confined and it just seems a bit too linear. I know there are a few branching paths, but it still makes me feel boxed in.

Wow I just had a pretty ridiculous arena match. Paladin vs Warlock, we were at 3 health each, no hands, just topdecking, for like 7 turns. The sheer odds of that are so low. And we had boards, too. Voidlord with a blood imp against the 3/3 ooze that summons a 1/2 taunt each turn. I drew a 4/6 and he drew a peacekeeper. Just stuff like that. I finally won in the end but that was so tense.

So in arena just now...my opponent had a timeline witness on board and buffed it with blessing of aeons. I'd hit the minion once for 2 damage, so it went from 2/2 to 3/3 and then to 4/4.

I was in a pretty terrible position and had to play a faceless manipulator turn 5 on his buffed 4/4. It got the blessing of aeons, but didn't buff at to 5/5 at the end of my turn.

While typing this I realized...I guess my copy would have buffed at the end of my opponent's turn, and not mine? Yeah that's probably it...was thinking it was just bugged. Either way that was a bit of a letdown when he just killed it with his truesilver and I thought I was playing effectively a 5/5.

And yeah, like para said, the main draw of attending the event isn't the stream room itself. There were a few I really enjoyed being in the room - Super Metroid, Mario Maker, SMW, Pokemon, Shantae...a few others. But what I'm really taking away from it is all the people I met. Not just the big popular streamers (I only spoke with them for a few minutes), but all the regular attendees. With any sort of convention like that, I mean if you get 2.5k people with similar interests all in the same place, you're gonna have a good time.

There were a few rooms dedicated to casual gaming which just had dozens of TVs set up. People organized tournaments of various games and just enjoyed watching each other play. One whole room was dedicated to smash bros, with like 20 TVs. There was a room set up with several computers and a projector specifically for playing artemis bridge simulator.

It was just tons of fun overall and I'll definitely be attending again some time.

Today I found several pictures of me with popular streamers who I don't remember talking to. Lol. Hence me saying I drank too much.

They had the stream on two big projector screens facing the crowd. One on either side of the couch. Also, in a spot you couldn't see from the stream shot, there was a TV on the floor in front of the back couch (behind the main couch) which just showed the game display, not the full stream layout.

Yeah, tough luck at the end there. If you remove the extra trip to the name rater for donation incentives and them struggling on communicating the spelling of one of the nicknames, it finishes less than 10 minutes over estimate. It's too bad he wanted to make sure he finished at least one game instead of just resetting both games when Yellow lost to lance, although I definitely understand why he chose that in that situation.

Personally had a blast watching that. After viridian forest and disregarding the trip to the name rater, it was pretty smooth. Ate a crit against sabrina but that was a quick reset. And another one somewhere...rival battle maybe? But he had saves right there both times.

Oh and the extra trip back to pick up an X Accuracy cost him a minute, too.
