And that's assuming that scum does have an extra kill, and didn't just kill Plum to make it hard for town to meta who would be killed, or any other number of reasons scum might have killed him. Though I come away slightly concerned about Blade. He didn't unvote, and earlier had said he was fine with a lynch on me or Nana. I mean he posted after 5tarscream claimed so he definitely had time to at least unvote. Which ultimately would have put us at a tie, but he couldn't have known that at the time. Of course, if he's scum, he could've just voted for me to make himself look better for saving town power. Though if Nana's scum too, then I guess that'd be a risky switch to make if Plum had been faster. Tony's Bzzt comment... I'd think he'd put a vote on 5tar if he thought it made him scum. But he did earlier say that he felt 5tar's flip told us nothing. Of course, if you think 5tar's scum, you lynch him to be lynching scum. Screw what information it gives us. Or Pj, though he was on 5tarscream much earlier so I don't think it says as much about him. It's possible the scum team wasn't around, too. Looking to see who was around at deadline... I don't think Mzero was. He ended yesterday without a vote. Corrik wasn't around and left his vote on FD Fake didn't seem to be around, but if Nana's scum, I doubt Fake is. I don't think FD was around And I doubt the entire scum team would vote for 5tarscream over Nana and out themselves anyway if Nana is scum. Then there's the backup lynch in me they had. They could've hoped to save Nana that way, but didn't want to put all their eggs in one basket. (The Nana lynch also came really late. Which wouldn't give scum a lot of time to plan) red13n posted... this game has different circumstances. And plum feels like an obvious clear SK kill. So its pretty safe to assume a kill got nullified. I mean i'd think a scum team that would coach him to say he's never heard of a scum board would also tell them to say "I forgot" as a defense. If he's following the scum board advice that closely, no reason for him to stop there and go with it on his own. Tony's back. Seeing more from him is good. Though it's a bit late for it. But better late than never. But seriously, posting about more people gives other people a better read on you. Sticking to a couple people is good for scum, because then they only have to remember a couple suspects, and don't give away too much. But for town? How are townies supposed to react to you when you stick to a couple of them? Especially the ones that are your suspects. ColZach shows up. Not sure how I feel about his dig at Blade for the lack of votals in the last game. Feels a little too hostile, and I think scum tend to be a little meaner than town even when it's not necessary. But I guess town can be that way too. Red's still stuck on me being different from last game? The one I replaced into on day 2? Comparing my play on day... 4 to my play on day 1 is... pretty normal I guess. I've seen way too many people jump on me day 1, usually leading to me claiming on day 2. I think that describes almost every game I've played of mafia. Sultan calling FD FFD kind of struck me a little, cause I'm thinking if he's scum someone on the scum board may be calling him FFD, and he picked it up from there. But then he has that vote on Tony, and I think he's town because I'm not sure he'd do that as scum. PJ hasn't really stuck out to me much at all. Tony's overreaction to Zach's claim was definitely weird. Weirder was his reaction to plum calling it out. It was a bit more defensive than I'd think it would be if it were a simple misunderstanding. Also, not sure what to make of his sort-of softclaim early in the game. Zam being weird as either alignment may be true, but that doesn't mean you don't expect players to make sense of their own logic. In fact, the weirdest players need to explain their logic the most. That way people can get a read on them. The guy who works at the factory is just his underling pretending to be him so that everyone doesn't direct their hate at Grandpa Joe. He's really rich (which is how he affords his tobacco while everyone else starves) and is eating healthy while everyone else is asleep. He doesn't want his family to get any of his money, but realizes he's dying and has to hand off the candy shop to Charlie because everyone else would NEVER keep Oompa Loompa Slaves, and thus cut into profits significantly. So he sets up a fake contest to hand it off to Charlie while keeping it a secret so everyone doesn't hate Charlie like they hated him. Everything else is just PR so Charlie can continue enslaving Oompa Loompa's and destroying jobs without people hating him. I'd never shop there, but I would never shop there even if they weren't terrible people. Papa John's is another I'd add... if I'd ever get their pizza in the first place.
