I'd say the election in Alabama tells you all you need to know about most Trump supporters. It might be a generalization, but when Republicans in Alabama thought it would be better to have a child predator in office than a Democrat that tells you they have no real morals and just want to see their party in office.

Sure, sure, Moore was defeated since black voters showed up at the polls(he had 75% of white men and over 60% of white women, so might have been undone by his 'cotton picking' style comment alluding to slavery), but nationally, and with Hillary being so toxic that she might as well be firing off gamma rays, whoever runs in 2020 has a hard battle ahead of them to overcome the Electoral College, gerrymandering, and all the rural Republicans who buy into the "baby killers are coming for your guns" rhetoric spit at them from Fox and other outlets.

Someone give me an explanation to settlement building? Seems cool. Can you just build anywhere?

No, specific places only. They'll have red workbenches, similar to the one at Sanctuary. Sometimes you just find the bench, other times you have to clear out enemies or complete a quest for the people already living there.

People will want food, beds under roofs, and water. For food harvesting one Settler can gather from 6.0 units of crops: that's 12 plants, or 6 Mutfruit bushes.

With certain perks you can build stores or set up supply lines for crafting.

If you join the Minutemen you can also use the Flaregun to call for reinforcements near your Settlements, once per day. It's effective within about 2 map squares of a Settlement, and you can extend the range a bit by aiming in the direction of your Settlement since the flare itself determines the distance and not your placement. Later on the Minutemen give you access to long range artillery strikes, also once per day, to a range of about 5 map squares from a Settlement with an Artillery piece.

In that particular case with the snow plow the city should have simply responded "Emergency services use roadways so those get preference." If someone pushes the issue just respond with a followup like, "Do you want to be the one to explain to a loved one why their spouse had to die of a heart attack so you could go jogging by the lake?" That should be the end of it.

Ah, that isn't 'most decisions' though.

In the core game most decisions have decent/good consequences. Heck, even the one cited in this topic originally has an interesting end if you let the man continue. He ends up going back to New California and challenging the political leadership there. In the meantime the Courier can continue to work away against the Legion.

Ulysses for his part is a jackass. Some players agree with some of what he says, but he's completely lost himself to said cynicism and is shortsighted because of it. It's best to just sweep him aside and continue forging a path to the future.

Some years back a coworker of mine asked me to help him set up a used computer he got in exchange for a few beers. The computer had belonged to a middle-aged white guy who took yearly trips to Thailand.

Having heard that I did a search for media files on the computer and while the files themselves had been deleted/moved, there were multiple file pathways still listed for various 'ladyboy' and 'boylove' videos.

In short, be suspicious of anyone who takes repeated trips to Thailand when they don't have family living there.

File complaints in writing, keep the writing for your records, also take pictures of the damage and keep those. Ideally you want to include a copy of the pictures with your written complaint.

Should push come to shove, that sort of physical evidence can sway a small claims court judge to get your deposit returned to you.

Generally speaking it's also a good idea to do a walkthrough before taking up residence, similarly noting in a written record any damage noticed before your tenancy along with supporting photos. Do another walkthrough when you leave, getting pictures as well. Ideally you want to include whoever is representing the property in several of your photos. That, along with a written record when you leave, makes it hard for landlords or property managers to retroactively seize your deposit.

If you do catch it online there are some nice moments. There's a great .gif moment involving a drone, and an absolute thundercrack of a blow in the match between Monsoon and Son of Whyachi. The main event was between Bronco and Duck; just seeing the lineup announcement had me thinking it was going to be a total mismatch.

Sidenote - apparently there is an ongoing bet between the support staff at Battlebots as to whether Bronco will be to launch a bot 16 feet into the air to take out one of the arena light fixtures. I can totally see that happening if they catch a bot at the right angle. They've already cleared 14 feet.
