Police initially said Mr Bradford, a US Army veteran, was the gunman, before backtracking on Friday.

The actual suspect remains at large.

Protesters and Mr Bradford's family have demanded transparency from police.

Hoover Police Department said on Monday: "We can say with certainty Mr Bradford brandished a gun during the seconds following the gunshots, which instantly heightened the sense of threat to approaching police officers responding to the chaotic scene."

Mr Bradford had a permit to carry a weapon, according to his family. Under Alabama gun law, it is not illegal to carry a firearm in public.

Luckily I do. If you didnt have any intent to make counterfeit money, you have nothing to worry about. It is perfectly legal to make a copy of a dollar. What if you want to blow it up in size to see the owl on the back?

I saw a reddit post today about how young the universe is. Only 13 billion years and it will be around for quadrillions or something. Earth IIRC is 5 billion years? Im sure there is life out there but its reasonable that they havent had enough time to progress to the point where they can travel to our system. Who knows.

See the thing is that time is all relative. All scientists have done is looked through time and space to a point when the galaxies were closer together and compared twinkling lights to try and get a scale on the spacetime.
