The Cardinals have two starters I trust - Mikolas and Flaherty - and I don't trust either one to pitch into the sixth inning. Wainwright's last two starts suggest a guy that can give you 4-5 decent innings hopefully. Then I guess you turn it over to Gomber as the #4 and keep Gant ready from the first inning. And this is all getting ahead of myself because the Cards may not even reach the play in game let alone the NLDS. Thanks Matheny!!!

This dude I went to college with apparently has no one to talk about baseball with and started texting me all the time. He discovered WAR this year. It's a nightmare. He also uses awful Facebook messenger as his primary texting app so it has read receipts on so I end up just seeing the first three words and then swiping it away. This one started off "Nick Ahmed should win the" I assume he's going to say gold glove and it'll be because Ahmed must have the highest dWAR on baseball reference, and he's going to tell me that DeJong should be a finalist for it because he has the second or third highest. Literally at the start of the year he lol'd at my assertion that DeJong was a pretty good defensive shortstop and like a week ago he told me that DeJong was a great defender. He just reads a stat on baseball reference and texts me about it. I think it's also me because he had to admit I was right about a lot of our guys over the past few years and he wants to become the baseball genius he sees me as, though now he also disputes all my opinions because the dWAR or whatever doesn't match up with what I think.

Great performance by the Vikings this week.

I got Spider-man. Only played for about 30 min so far, but I was thinking about trying the hardest difficulty and I'm glad I didn't. The first boss in the tutorial part has kicked my butt.

You'll be very good at it by the end but I think the difficulty on normal is pretty fair throughout.

Bradford got benched for real finally. We'll see how this goes I guess
