That's part of it, but yeah. Like Foggy said, dying declarations are held in high regard in court, even in real life. The fact that the video was leaked to the public definitely didn't help things. Fisk probably could have manipulated the court again and weaseled his way out of it, but his public image would forever be tarnished.

What really took him down was his attachment to Vanessa. He only agreed to confess to his crimes because DD threatened her. Basically he was taken down by his own tactics. Fisk used peoples' loved ones as leaverage to control them, and now DD is doing the same thing to him. I think it's supposed to be ironic.

I only watched like the first couple of episodes of Defenders before dropping it and I was able to follow along just fine.

Anyway, I just finished the season. Really solid overall and arguably better than season 1. Are they setting up Bullseye to be the major villain next season?

I want to watch the shows in order, but god do I hate Iron Fist.

Took me months to get through Luke Cage 2 even though it was actually a good season, but I can't get past ep3 of Iron Fist 2.

Iron Fist 2 was a solid improvement over the first season. Not amazing, but enjoyable. It made me think that the show could truly be awesome if it was in more capable hands. If season 1 had been as good as 2, I think the reception to the series would have been better. It's a shame that there won't be a season 3 since I think 2 really redeemed the series.

Though Joy's character made no sense to me and she was definitely the worst part of season 2.

If you're going to be a dick to whoever is offering you a service, there's a pretty decent chance that no matter how nice that person treats you, it's a huge waste of time. Time is money, and sending you out the door is a wise business proposition no matter how much you badmouth that business to your (probably) low-quality friends.

I learned a long time ago that some people just have misery hardwired into their DNA. You can treat them like the second coming of Christ and they'll still be dissatisfied.

A few weeks ago we had a middle aged woman come in. She got a text alert saying she had a prescription ready at the other store in town (not our's). We tell her we don't have anything. She claims she got a text from us (she didn't). We pull up her text history on our computer and it shows we never sent her an alert. We tell her it's at the other store. She gets mad. We tell her we can transfer but it might take time and it would probably be faster to just drive to the other store (it's like 10 minutes away). She says no to that and demands that we call the other store and have one of their employees drive it over to her. We tell her that's not happening. She then demands that the pharmacist call the district pharmacy manager and so she can talk to him. She demands he come to the store. A little over 20 minutes later he arrives. She still claims we sent her a text. After she goes back and forth with him for what feels like an eternity she finally agrees to do a transfer.

If she had done that from the start she would have saved herself a lot of time.

Also, when she was still insisting that we texted her I asked if she could show me the text she received on her phone and she conveniently didn't have it on her. That was definitely a lie.

Iron Fist season 2 was alright.

Season 1 wasn't as bad as everyone said imo. Mediocre for sure, but I think it was watchable at least. That's more than you can say for Arrow and Flash's worst seasons. Arrow seasons 3-4 and Flash seasons 3-4 were fucking abysmal. Season 5 of Flash looks promising

My biggest complaint is the music. It's not bad, but I don't think synth/techno was the way to go. Save for a couple of tracks, most of the music feels very samey and isn't very memorable

Really fun entry in the series. The boss fights in particular are great. These might be the best robot master fights in the series. The special weapons are also a lot of fun, especially when combined with the power gear. Overall it's a satisfying entry in the series
