you know I've seen people say for years that DMC2 is a bad game but I've never really seen anyone elaborate on exactly why it's bad

From what I remember a few months back after finishing

- it's just too damn easy, while at the same time impossible to get S on mission. Super weird. Guns are REALLY strong so you can kind of just use those for most fights (and some fights is the only viable means of fighting like the aforementioned Helicopter battle)

-they took away a lot of the upgrading stuff, just really simplified it and made it not nearly as fun.

- Dante's story is barely anything

-Dante as a character is barely anything

On a positive note I kind of liked some of the environments they did, they tried to be a bit adventurous with some of them. Also probably the best part of the game is the Dodge animations. First game that you can Matrix off walls and do some other fun stuff. The animations in general for the game are pretty decent.

But her story at least actually tries to do something, which you can't say about Dante's, and she should get a 2nd chance and be in a game that's actually good

I dont remember DMC2 at all. Which is weird because I remember DMC, DMC3 and DMC4.

It mustve sucked really bad.

The most important thing to remember about DMC2 is the helicopter fight you win by shooting handguns at it for thirty-five minutes.
