We don't know what they're willing to do though! There will never be a time where we 100% know!

I don't know why it's such a difficult concept to understand why Goku WOULD be the character that breaks that. The likelihood that they do? Probably very low, there's tons of other video game characters that would still be great being in, the agreements they would have to make with other companies, so on and so forth. But he very clearly WOULD be a character that could be suited to Smash if they so decided.

This all stemmed from Walugi saying "he has no place in Smash" which is still just a silly statement to me, coming from a pretty elitist place. Personally sure you don't want non-video game characters in, alright that's fine. But saying there's NO WAY he gets in BECAUSE of that? Pssssh.

Because if there was someone who wouldn't be from a video game that could get in, Goku would 100% be the candidate. He's just that massive and crosses across so many borders, appealing to so many people.

All I'm saying is that he certainly has the qualifications for being considered, whether he actually SHOULD be put in is up for debate. But saying things like "he has no place in Smash" is silly.

yea I'm fine with the first pick having a multiplier, just the fact that arbitrarily picking a Character first instead of a Pokemon gave a 50 point advantage, which is quite a bit.

What's done is done and I'm fine with it, just wanted to give you some feedback for the future.

huh I was on my phone earlier so I didn't really see the breakdown of points but looking at it now

Any particular reason for first pick Characters got 2.5x while Pokemon only got 2.0x? Seems rather substantial for something so minor. And is that gonna be a rule for the rest of this game or do all of these points and multipliers change in each round

EDIT: I just saw the Type Clause will be in effect for Round 3, so I guess that answers my second question.
