Instead of paying the extra $15 (or $30) on any Amazon device, just be polite and ask Amazon; they'll remove it for free. I've done this with all my Amazon products (two Kindles, three Fires). Here's my latest chat log with my newest Fire 10 device (names changed for privacy):

Me: I have couple Fires without special offers and just got a Fire 10 with special offers. Can I swap the "special offers" from these devices so that I don't have any special offers on my Fire 10?

Macsin: Hello, my name is Macsin. I'm here to help you today.
Could you please help me with the serial number of the device with the special offers?

Me: Fire 10 has a serial number of: <redacted>

Macsin: Thank you.
Allow me few minutes while I quickly try to cancel the special ads on the device.
Thank you for your time.
I've successfully unsubscribed the device from Special Offers.

Me: I got the message popped up on my Fire; thank you!

Macsin: It did show that there would be a charge for the same, however I have waived off the charges as a one time exception for you.

Me: That's great! thank you for that.

Macsin: You are most welcome, I am glad I was able to assist you.
Would there be anything else that I may help you with?

Me: That was all; thanks again.

Macsin: Thank you for contacting Amazon. You have a blessed day ahead.

Children are there because their parents are trying to do whats best for future generations by bringing them to a better county that has historically been very welcoming to downtrodden immigrants. Ya know, the American dream?

So follow these steps:

Instead of trying to jump across the border. These migrants are a slap to every legal immigrant inside the country.

If you want the cheapest piano, go to Craigslist and look for an upright piano; you'll find them for literally free, but you have to haul it. It will probably be out of tune so add another $100 to get it tuned.

If you want a decent but more "portable" piano, I suggest getting a cheaper-end digital piano, such as the Kawai CE220 or the Yamaha YDP181. These are realistic pianos but are light and small enough that it'll be easy to relocate.

Now if you want to go with a good upright piano (<$15,000), look at Kawai, Yamaha and Baldwin. If you want to go with a baby grand or a full grand piano, I suggest Yamaha, Steinway, Bosendorfer, and Stuart & Sons (though their pianos are "unique"). Some of these will cost over $200,000, and are concert-quality.

*EDIT* This post is based on my classical piano training, FYI. So don't follow this if you want to play electronic type music or something... If that's the case, you can just go buy a cheap <$1000 digital piano with pedals and you'll be fine.

This will be for hobby shooting at the range, so I don't need the greatest-quality gun; just something for fun, which is why I'm okay with PSA/S&W M&P15 lines. I'm wondering if it's worth $140 to get it "pre-assembled", or if I can do it.

Your medical situation was presented to our multidisciplinary heart transplant committee on Tuesday October 20, 2018. The decision made by the committee is that you are not a candidate at this time for a heart transplant due to needing more secure financial plan for immunosuppressive medication coverage. The Committee is recommending a fundraising effort of $10,000.

On one hand I can see how the committee may think it's a literal waste of a heart if the user cannot afford immunosuppressive medication to make sure the heart isn't rejected by the body... but on another hand, this is sort of fucked up.

Timothy Warren was driving his FedEx truck through a verdant neighborhood in Portland, Ore., when the man he would soon kill screamed that Warren was going too fast.

Warren stopped his truck. He was exhausted, he tried to explain to Joseph Magnuson that day in late September, and just wanted to get done with his work.

Magnuson was unrelenting and hurled numerous aggressive insults and racist slurs at him.

That was something Warren, who is black, could not abide.

He stepped out of the truck, and both men yelled at each other.

Magnuson took a swing. Warren swung back, connecting a single blow above Magnusons left eye that sent him tumbling to the ground.

Magnuson, 55, briefly lost consciousness, then died later that evening.

Prosecutors, however, have decided not to charge Warren, 41, with a crime. He did not intend to kill Magnuson and acted in self-defense during the Sept. 26 incident, the Multnomah County District Attorneys Office said in a memo released Monday.

Its unclear whether Warren still works for FedEx; a company spokeswoman declined to answer a question about his employment status.
