I'm not sure how it worked in FU (I started in 3) but GU doesn't have carry over for any of its elder dragons. Neither did 3U, which made solo dire miralis a shit show haha

There are actually people in this country willing to support it and pay for it, before they'd ever consider putting that money toward the education of those that would design such a massive project. People are so opposed to paying for people's schooling (and healthcare, for that matter), but totally fine putting their money toward the construction and maintenance of a big fucking wall that wouldn't work anyway

The only one I would say is clunky is 2. They tried to up the speed of the combat a little bit in 2 without adding any fluidity to the movement, so it sometimes feels you're too slow or bulky to dodge hits. Bloodborne and 3 perfected the formula though

Best one mechanically. 1 has the best world and atmosphere, BY FAR. 2 is... Somewhere in the middle. It's a little better than one when it comes to controls, imo, and the world is more open than 3. It sticks with the "choose your own path" approach that 1 has, which is a huge plus, but many of the areas just aren't memorable for me. 3 has superior gameplay/aesthetics (imo), and has memorable areas, but the choice of direction was extremely streamlined. You pretty much just went one way, with only a handful of instances of choosing your own path.

The dream was that the remaster of the first game was going to have the engine of 3. That would have been amazing.

And also a finished Lost Izalith, while we're dreaming.

Tbh, I would've liked seeing the remaster use Unreal Engine. Would've been a game worth picking for me if it did.
