Isn't 100 supposed to be the average regardless? So, even if humanity was getting dumber, wouldn't 100 just be the average still?

I'm guessing there basing it on an empirical metric by which the quotient is derived. I would interested in how they do so, though, since as far as I recall they base the scores off a different test every year.

I don't listen to a lot of punk/hardcore/metal so I don't mosh much. However, there was a pit going at a Foxy Shazam concert a long time ago and some guy was spazzing out. I think he was on speed or something. Anyways, I "accidentally" elbowed him in the head at one point. It didn't slow him down at all, lol.

At a Coheed and Cambria concert this mousey girl was going pretty hard in the pit, but she was only wesring board shorts and a bra. At one point she got blind-sided or something and hit the deck, and her goods came out too. I pulled her out when she went down and got to see some tatas, so it was a real win-win.

There were no cuties in my gym back when I used to train. Just all sweaty dudes. :(

With thay said, I got ragdolled by two different little dude who weighed 60 lbs less than me on a regular basis. I could never create anywhere near as tight a triangle choke. I also got manhandled by a big ass wrestler-turned-blue belt. Even when the dude went easy on me it still felt like wrestling a brick wall. Dude could crush me from the turtle, which I still can't fathom.

This topic is about Steins;Gate.

Steins Gate used John Titor. The John Titor thing happened before an anime used it though

Oh, today I learned. I never knew it was based on a real thing.

It's one of the endearing things about Steins;Gate. It was built on a lot of relevant modern references.

Anyways, John Titor happened at an early point in the internet's life where the concepts of trolling were still poorly understood, and people were unfamiliar with the crazy lengths mentally ill people would go to make people believe a lie. It was an unsuspecting victim for a troll (Or lunatic) who was ahead of his time.

It's total nonsense. I can't imagine a more faithful reimagining of Doom on the current generation of consoles. Maybe the music was a little too different...? Maybe they wanted outdated level-select and inexplicable medieval stone fortresses?

The gameplay was frenetic and responsive, the enemies came in droves, the violence was varied and gory, the story was simple but engaging, and Doom Guy was badass beyond reason.

I feel like most people that died from long swords didn't die from a stab wound. That type of sword was probably more effective being swong. It would probably suck to get hit with it and maybe the injured did get stabbed in the back of the head after a battle (which would also suck).

It's hard for me to imagine a sword being as sharp and powerful as people say they were/are. Like, could it really cut someone in half in one swing? I can't even cut through a chicken leg with one chop.

Stabs are extremely dangerous because they have a high chance of puncturing internal organs, which has a very high fatality rate even today. Beyond that, they also have a high chance of infection.

Slashes, cuts, and hacks are good for immobilizing body parts and cutting arteries, but are less likely to get through a rib cage and cause an immediately deadly blow. A good cutting sword can definitely dismember someone with a clean strike, but chopping clean through a person probably almost never happened. As well, most armor is far better at stopping cuts than stabs, which is why advancements in armor led to developments and popularization of thrusting swords as the ideal dueling armament. Then, when gunpowder made most armor obsolescent, slashing weapons like sabers saw a return to the battlefield for cavalry troops.

Slashes do have a technical advantage in that it is easier to transition between offense and defense with sweeping movements like a cut, and it is easier to feint and redirect a sweeping blow to bypass an enemies guard. Thrusts in saber or longsword dueling tend to become less effective (though still very effective!) at higher levels of the discipline.

Well I read some of the manga. Apparently that fight drags on there too. I guess it sucks. But none of this recap nonsense at least. I'm surprised the manga isn't further ahead.

Oda has done this with both of Luffy's climax fights recently and it has bothered a lot of people. In his fight with Doffy we got half of the fight then he reset the whole thing by launching Luffy to the other side of the island. Then we got ANOTHER delay as Luffy had to recover before his final barrage. Pacing was not good in Dressrosa in general, although it was still a decent arc. The Katakuri fight could have been really cool but Luffy spent WAY too much time running away. It was really odd, and similar to his fight with Cracker where they literally offscreened 99% of the entire fight. It just doesn't make much sense to me.

Wano has been excellent so far though, for what it's worth.

The anime is not worth watching after the Summit War Arc. Quality starts to get bad about midway through the arc, with recaps that sometimes take up 6-7 (!) minutes. It's all downhill from there, with tons of padding, shoddy-inconsistent animation, excessive rehashing, ect. You can tell they sapped out about any artist merit from the show by that point and are just riding the profit pony all the way to the bank.
