Usually the case, but I think it's would be a little different here. Most of the board(I think, or maybe most of the regulars) were in the topic that he made. I've only been here about a month shy of a year, and I know who he is. That being said, I'm not sure if he ever disclosed her race.

It's still irrelevant. The same yard stick is entirely applicable in that circumstance. If you were using a different standard i.e. men are stronger than women full stop, you'd have a guy with cerebral papsy carry weight for the world's strongest woman. But you don't. The metric you use is "the stronger one lifts", which ignores sex.

To me your gender shouldn't be an excuse for why you can or can't do something. If a woman owns a house but doesn't own a tool box or know how to do basic maintenance I basically ask them "What the f*** is wrong with you, why do you own a house?" similar to what I would do with a man.

Maybe not as harsh but I can agree with you. Certain skills I feel should be "basic skills" that the average man/woman should know such as basic first aid, cooking, changing flat tire on a car, simply household maintenance, sewing, etc. One doesn't have to be an expect, just not be ignorant about it.

Kinda related but as a teenager my sister did not know how to shut off the toilet tank main. I was baffled until I realize my father simply never taught her. It's so simple and could mean you not getting a flooded bathroom if something goes wrong.

On another note one of my female friends once had to help a guy jump start his car cause he didn't know how to use jumper cables and she jokingly posted on Facebook about him giving up his "man card". I'd admit certain things I was ignorant of at various points in my life but like your comment about owning a house, if you drive a car, you should know basic car stuff as well.

We're a sexually dimorphic species, with males having about 50% more upper body strength, and about 25% more lower body strength. So actually, an average built male might be better suited to lift something heavy than a pretty well built female.

I haven't read all the topic, but it's not voluntary in all prisons. I was roommates for a few days that spent 9 years in prison, a few months in a federal one and the rest in a state ran prison.
He told me that the work was completely voluntary in the federal one, but absolutely mandatory in the state one. They still paid them the shitty wages, but they couldn't opt out of working.

It's different with lightgun games because they control the pace and rely on jumps. Most horror games aren't scary simply because when you can control the pacing and direction, it takes away the suspense. For instance, when you know that a jump may be coming, you can choose to hold off approaching a corridor until you feel ready. In a lightgun game, the game may slow things down for a second to build up suspense, turn the corridor and... nothing... but then right after you've been lulled into a false sense of security, bam! Something happens.

Granted, a lot of lightgun games also go cartoony (CarnEvil) which can undercut a lot of that.

Jump scares are startling, not scary at all. They're the biggest reason horror movies are going down the drain.

Dragalia Lost just came out and is perfect for stylus use. It feel like it should have been a 3DS game, honestly.

Puzzle & Dragons is another good one. Sliding match game, but instead of swapping adjacent tiles, you get a few seconds to freely swap all your orbs by grabbing one and dragging it through the field.

Also, I don't know if you're saying Tsum Tsum specifically sucks, or if you don't like that genre, but Crash Fever is the same style of game in case if you're looking for something that could potentially be better.

Thanks, dude. I used to love playing Crash Fever but I completely forgot about it. I just don't like the Disney Tsum Tsum because there's no sense of progress like the Marvel one did. It's pretty much playing just for the sake of collecting different Tsum Tsums.

BTW, what kind of game is Dragalia? I was interested because of Nintendo, but I saw that the reviews for it are pretty damn bad.

Then the girl contacted his school and his employers so he could get fired and kicked out of his school.

Not exactly. Since we're salary instead on wages, we technically get paid lunch. But it's up to who ever is in charge of you to decide that. Sometimes, we would get enough time to get take out from the chow hall. Other times, we could go to a sit down restaurant. Typically, it's suppose to be about an hour, though...

It's officially supposed to be an hour and a half for breakfast and lunch, but it's "command discretion".

Depends on what you consider problems and how much you value the payoff. So, different for everyone. I, like a good amount of people I know, don't really have any problem finding other partners. It only taste boring if not prepared correctly. As Doctor Foxx suggest, tofu for the most part takes on whatever flavour it is cooked with. Kinda baffles me actually when I see people eat plain cold tofu in a salad. Apart from the dressing the tofu will have next to no flavour. My personal favorite is Mabo tofu and as a dessert with ginger syrup.

Of course it being flavourless does mean having to take extra steps to add flavour compared to just boiling up/grilling some hot dogs. Personally I prefer bratwurst over hotdogs though.

Still, everyone's palate is bound to be different so no matter how good one dish is to one person, it is bound to be trash to another and I don't doubt visual appearance will put off some people. I'm curious about the Filipino dish, balut, but will admit the visual appearance is kinda off putting even if it's basically chick soup, so to speak.

Which ones are you referring to? I've had tofu of different softness/hardness but the only ones I recall having a taste by itself are the fermented tofu which too strong for me to eat.

I've had some cheap ones from the Asian markets that had a subtle but off taste.
