Depends what the issue is. Implying that certain people deserve less than equal rights "just 'cause" is pretty racist.

Conservative politicians tend to openly push racist policies, so supporting those politicians does in fact make someone a racist.

As a hispanic male that's been on the painful side of racial hatred several, several times, I can fully say that beating a racist doesn't make them less racist.

If they have that hatred, violence only makes it worse as they just use it as confirmation bias.

So I'm glad the sheltered kids in this topic can smile at the idea of a racist getting hit, but I hope they realize that's how more hatred is bred.

It's weird how seriously those on the right take racism...but in the wrong way.

Like, it's not a crime. It's not murder or theft where there's an exact outcome at the end of it. It's a behavior, like calling someone an asshole.

And that's really what being a racist is: an asshole with regards to race. And just because you don't think you're an asshole or you didn't mean to be an asshole doesn't absolve you of asshole-ish behavior.

If you're fine with being asshole or a racist, then...okay. But when people start calling you an asshole/racist and stop associating with you, at some point you have to realize you're the problem and take responsibility. Fortunately, people have been pointing out racist behavior for six centuries now, so if you truly want to improve yourself, there's a wealth of information out there!

Not really. Kamala is definitely a more endearing character, but a lot of the criticisms Carol gets are kinda bullshit. It all basically boils down to her new haircut, what she did in Civil War II, and Marvel's push for her to be their Wonder Woman.

They're have been plenty of male heroes who have done far worse stuff than Carol has done at her worst, but after getting a quality arc or two they seem to get back in the fans' good graces.
