Final Fantasy has no continuity except for direct sequels, but the games obviously do share some things in common (spell names, summons, and Cid). The only mobile versions that aren't garbage (to my knowledge) are 3 and 4, and only because they're ports of DS games. You're going to want to play pretty much any Final Fantasy that isn't 3 or 4 in a remade or remastered form.
