Avoid. Most of the time it is only to stop illegal copies of games from being played, though I know Ubisoft added constantly active call in DRM to Child of Light, breaking the game on PS3 unless you disabled your internet connection, since otherwise it can't keep up and issues keep popping up. -_- Mercenaries 2 is the same, it tries to contact a now dead server if you are online, and will fail to start the game. But at least they didn't do constant checks, so it wasn't bogging down the system with bullshit when the server existed. Revelation34 posted... EclairReturns posted...I can still remember the time I bought Tales of Berseria for forty American dollars. They took it out of another case, put it in the original case, and was so annoyed at them for expecting me to pay full MSRP price that much money for a game that has been clearly used, I decided that from then on, I would never buy a new game from them again. | DeltaBladeX 12/02/18 2:58:29 AM #1 | I ended up giving away my keys to other users since I only owned a 2DS back in 2016, but now that I'm getting a WiiU delivered in the next few days, I'm wishing I held onto some of those keys. I'll be using both my primary NZ account and a UK account I put on my 2DS after getting a n3DS, so doesn't matter if the keys are for Australia / New Zealand or United Kingdom / Europe / South Africa (unless the Wii U prevents activating both of those accounts, even though they are both PAL, so the system wouldn't be region locked for either). I'm not too picky about what the games are, it still increases my library, be it Shantae, Freedom Planet, Darksiders 2, or one of those other games.
