He is cute without being dumb. Like he is this pink ball of fluffiness who kicks some serious ass, has cool powers and very fun games.

Final Fantasy IX's reputation has improved over the past decade.

I don't think that's necessarily true. FF9 has always had a good reputation. It just sold less than other the FFs in the Gamefaqs era (7-8-10). I'd say it's always been popular among the hardcore fans, and now those are the only ones left voting. The casual fan who might only played 7 or 10 probably is longer on Gamefaqs.

Of course that doesn't explain why Zidane sucks. But Tidus sucking doesn't stop Auron from winning. It makes sense that Vivi would be on Auron's level.

I don't know that much about KOS-MOS, but I think some of her appeal is the fact that she is an emotionless woman, not letting emotions get in the way. One of the stereo types for women is to be overly emotional and she breaks that mold. I think she is also like a blank slate, able to learn whatever, and that is appealing.

That logic sure hasn't helped Quiet any, though...

Honestly, this is such a terrible result. I knew it was coming after Sully and Drake, but it just shows you how irrelevant Gamefaqs is these days. Not to mention how close Shepard/K-rool is.

TLOU's single player is good, but the multiplayer is amazing. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a more strategic, slower paced, tactical experience.

Yeah I'd say Angie is more like Byakuya in that they can be obnoxious, antagonize the protagonists openly, and deliberately meddle with the daily/deadly lives.

I don't think they're that similar. Angie genuinely thought she was doing the right thing. She wasn't being a jerk on purpose like Byakuya in 1-2.

Uncharted was pretty much the first must-play PS3 exclusive, and it had just come out.

Last night, Massachusetts/New Jersey/New York all voted for Magus. Which means that Illinois is now the only state remaining with a perfect voting record. Vincent was also the first winning character to win less than half of the 50 states. He still barely won the US vote, though (50.19% vs 51.89% overall).

BTW, I pointed out in the other thread the most common sets of division winners people picked. Five people had (Ganondorf-Pikachu-Red-Charizard-Zelda-Sans-Mewtwo-Sephiroth) which is a bit unusual, including both of those two. The other three are cloelea, puseecat, and reggaeton_reina. 49/50 states voted for Dante. North Dakota voted for Cuphead.

39/50 states voted for Chun Li. 11 states had Spyro (AK-ID-KS-ME-MO-NE-NH-ND-RI-SD-TN). A couple states were 50/50 but colored for Spyro, so I counted them for him.

Spyros been getting an odd amount of hype for an upset here, and I dont totally understand it.

Because, this is one of those matches that would probably go the other way on Reddit or with the entire gaming public. Also, it's been a long time since the last character battle, so a lot of the kids who grew up with Spyro are older now.

That's true. Rally spillover is probably why Pokemon was so strong last time as well. Which means that if you think there are going to be more rallies this time, it makes sense to boost those characters in your bracket (and any other more casual, less hardcore characters too).
