The first 12 amendments aren't all rights. #12 is about the electoral college.

If you're going to count it that way, there are also multiple rights in many of the amendments

I doubt he meant to imply that the forbidding slavery was less important than the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment, but it was a stupid point regardless. The 14th Amendment, for example, is a hell of a lot more important than the 3rd.
