Read the books. The first 4 or 5 seasons of the show are phenomenal. After that it turned into a train wreck. But the books are fantastic.

I mean, it's not entirely their fault. Because D&D don't have 2 brain cells between them to rub together, they utterly failed on every level make this twist logical. They clearly did it for the shock value. Now, it's possible that this is Martin's plan for the books. But because Martin is actually an intelligent person, he'll be a lot smarter and more careful about how it plays out in the books.

But, I will agree that I think 12 is good. Okay, the story and characters? Not great. But I really like the battle system, and I love how huge the world is. There are entire zones and regions of the world you never have to go to to beat the game, but they're there if you're the exploration-oriented type.

Yeah IX has like a storybook feel to it. The settings are kind of whimsical, there's anthropomorphic animals, the characters have exaggerated features. It's like a bedtime story in video game form.

Of those two, IX is the better game for sure, but you might not get much out of it if you're not already familiar with FF. So of those two play VII first.

But, I would recommend to play 1,4,5 and 6 some time. 2 is bad, 3 is decent, but it can be brutally difficult at times. Skip 8. There are people that like 8. Those people are crazy.

Also the FFT lancer's movement ability is called Ignore height. The game's limited by its art style but they could theoretically just casually leap onto any surface whether its two feet or twenty thousand feet in the air.

What was the point of Ghost rushing in with the Datrhaki.... I mean, unless they covered his paws and jaws with Dragon Glass, wtf is a Wolf going to accomplish.

The point was it looked cool, and the showrunners didn't really seem to understand his purpose in the books. Is he dead? Is he alive? idk. I kind of don't care lol. So in the books, all of the Stark children (except maybe Sansa? I can't remember), including Jon, exhibit warging abilities with their wolves. When Jon is betrayed and murdered at the end of A Dance With Dragons, it seems to imply that at the last moment before he died he warged into Ghost, and for the moment he's stuck there. So in the books Ghost is going to play a big part in bringing Jon back. Maybe. It's just speculation at this point.
