Honestly, the choice ahead of us is either an exciting final between two heavyweights in Auron and Lightning or a boring Auron/Edward or Lightning/Edward blowout final.

In the Excel update, he had marked Kefka as safe, so it was between edward and auron. Then after the vote that saved auron was cast, it looked like edward was out, but all of a sudden kefka was still not safe after all.

Part of the problem for Genny is she let's her gloom out in public. She was like "yeah guffyguy and vcharon won't be around for Auron, maybe a save here or there but not trading." Now both are trading. I get it, privately I was super worried about yesterday being two hours and red mage being murdered but I keep it to myself because I only look bad if he survives.

Well....I would've jumped on Auron bandwagon immediately, as would have vcharon, and Genny knew that. But both me and vcharon were a bit butthurt about Seymour going out, and needed a little break. I think Genny was just fairly venting about the lost potential support.

I'm actually not a big fan of repeat winning myself, but Auron is the only character left that I actually like, so shouldn't i vote for my favorite final fantasy character that's left? I'm not sure saving a lesser character is worth the principle, especially since it's already been broken anyway.

Dead Auron has already won, yes, but this is the ffx-0 living Auron. Everyone deserves a chance to win while they were actually alive.

But was it intentional though? That's where I'm torn. He hasn't given any kind of defense that I can see for why he would post "my internet went down" rather than "Red XII". If he even attempted to give some kind of honest explanation for his behavior, maybe he'd have a few more sympathizers. But by not speaking, one can only assume it was intentional and there's no place for that frankly.

to play devils advocate, the only thing that confuses me about this, is that I asked earlier in this contest if someone can be punished for not fulfilling a trade, and I was provided with some latin by the host which basically meant that the seller alone assumes all risk for a trade. But now it seems, many rounds later, that a person is being banned for, either intentionally or unintentionally, not fulfilling a trade. I understand there's more to this than that, but on the surface it does seem a little contradictory. I think that's where the community rule probably kicks in though. Where unethical behavior, even if not spelled out in the rules, can result in a banning.

I know I've not been Auron's most ardent supporter, but I'd like to reiterate what Genny said. Kefka and Auron savers will watch their characters fall to the RM/Lightning superpact unless we band together to fight back. As for Edward, I'm still not sure how he fits into the equation.

I think the long term growth rate is more indicative of a more thriving economy than of any defiance to or support for LGBT issues.

What was more telling though was the immediate response Chick-Fil-A received after the news first broke back in 2012. If I recall, what followed was a week of huge earnings as people flocked to the fast food chain in a show of support meant to counter-protest those calling for boycotts.

At the end of the day though, most people who go there probably just want some good chicken. It's kind of like boycotting Walmart or Nike or whatever. Maybe you have your reasons, and they might be important to you, but that doesn't mean everyone else should feel the same way you do about it, even if they hold your same beliefs.

every now and then I think of my ps+ backlog as motivation for not buying new games unless they really, really interest me.

At the midway point.

Once again the NFC has a balanced group of top contenders, this time in the 49ers, Packers, Saints, Seahawks, and Vikings. There are a few other teams you could even add to the list who could make some noise if they get hot. The fight for the wild card is looking to be competitive though, so teams hovering around or a little below .500 are going to need to start stringing together some wins now before it's too late.

The AFC, which has not had balance in over a decade, is struggling to even have any kind of notable contender to the Patriots this year. The Sunday night game in Baltimore will be crucial. It is the best, and only chance for the rest of the field to tighten the gap. If New England wins, it'll pretty much lock up home field advantage for them, and that's not even that much of an early exaggerated prediction in my opinion.
